Lung Pain

Hello Smile I'm 4 months post radiation and I've been experiencing pain in my right lung when I sleep or sneeze. I told my radiologist about it and had some tests done but they didn't find anything, is it normal to have this kind of side effect?

    I had the same side effect - also showed up about 4 months post-radiation. in the end my rad onc diagnosed me with radiation-pneumonitis and pleurisy. she put me on a high dose of steroids for two weeks and the pleurisy cleared up. but I am left with the pneumonitis, which can take months to heal. every time I sneeze I scream, it hurts so much.

    i am in the process of getting checked out for this.  I finished zaps on May 7, got sick on May 17 and thought my subsequent shortness of breath was just a combo of my cold and allergies.  I am set for a CAT scan tomorrow and a pulmonary function test on Monday. . . . .
