haha. i just looked at the pic. we are actually not all that short and chubby. (especially me!) LOL. It looks like a carnaval mirror.
-
ok, hope you're not sick of me yet. in the pic from LtoR: Dad, Mum, little brother Steve, me, big brother Keith. We look good, right? Mum & Dad are 70!!! And we are......all around 39. lol.
-
Choc....great picture....even though you are in the carnival mirror....LOL! Everyone is smiling and 3 with drinks in hand. Fellow on right looks like he is enjoying a wee splash of some dark beer. I am so glad you had a great time. The puppy pick wouldn't be hard for me at all....I would take the girl...LOL! I know there can be issues with that however. Anyway, just wanted to thank you for the pic. Now, when you bring home that puppy I will expect another picture. As to my sink issue...it was idiotic...they sure thanked me for calling. I guess I am an honest person.....is that going to earn me another year of life! I hope so......hugs to ya all again! HunkyD

Chocolatelover please help me by sending instructions as to how you put a picture on here, thanks

Hi girls, I got through the mammo., but I took a pain pill before it, so I didn't scream or anything, but like HD said ouch. My lymph nodes have been swollen and hurt for the last week or so, but I think it's from all the darn pollen in the air. Yeah, funny huh, a gardener with allergy's. Now I just have to wait, until I see my Onc. on June 7th, and he will no doubt have the results by then.
Hey Bonnie, I've been reading about Evista being almost as good as Tamoxifen, but without all the side-effects. I plan on discussing this with my Onc.
Love the pic, Choc., your much younger than I pictured you in my head.
Well, I'm drained, so I'm off to bed. DAT.
-
Choc. I hope that didn't come out wrong, I just thought you were my age. I stayed home today, it's been raining all day, so I stayed in bed most of the day. LOVELY!!!! I love rain days, when I can stay home.
-
ok, try not to oooh and ahhhh so much ladies. the cuteness is off the scale! This is already day 7, so they are one week old today! The blue collar is a boy, and the red. Green is the only girl. Aww.....
Bonnie, hunky is the best at giving photo instructions. I just play around and sometimes it works, others it doesnt. i know you need an account set up with photobucket, download your photos there, then hunkyD can walk you thru the rest of the process. I am just starting to get the hang of it.
i've got another one. see next post.
-
Leggy, no worries. I am pretty young to be a 10 yr survivor! Glad you enjoyed the rain. It turned to snow up here. ugh! my poor flowers. Rain would have been much nicer. Bonnie, bet you're glad you're not here now! Anyway, we need moisture, so it's ok. Keep posting ladies. Kelly, Karen, Wyoming....how r u all?
-
ok, i'm a proud mama, but this is the last one for a week or so.
-
Oh my gosh....they are adorable....look at that little girl! Is she eating?....She is so like me....LOL! We do share a real close birthday. Thanks for posting Choc! I love seeing beautiful things...and puppies are beautiful to me! Hugs to you all! HD
-
OMG! They are so cute!!!!!
-
HunkyD Happy Birthday!!! what is the date?
-
It was May 22. Another year eh? Hugs! HunkyDory
-
Hunky, will you please send me instructions on how to post pictures.
Thanks Bonnie
-
Hi Bonnie. I will try to help. When I enter photos I used Photobucket as my server source. You can join that for free. Upload the photos into Photobucket that you want to use. Then, after you have succesfully uploaded to photobucket, while still in Photobucket select the photo. Under each photo there will be a box that says share this image. Select the second option down that says direct link, and hit copy. It will be a http: link for your photo. (See below)
Then, in BCO Post a Reply box on bco...click the little tree icon up left of the
icon.It will say insert edit image.
Place your cursor in the box that says Image URL and hit paste (Cntrl V) and your http:/imgage link whatever the name will show up in there. Then under the Alignment options in the same window I usually choose left. Don't worry about the dimensions unless your photos are very high resolution and huge. Then just hit insert and see what you see. You might have to play around a bit with it for size options. If it doesn't work...try again....none of us mind....we're not going anywhere. BCO is set up that you can't put a photo in a message here from your own hard drive like you can the avatars. Has to be on a server somewhere or internet link to one. Go for it...would love to see some pics of new grandbaby.....XXOO HunkyD

Thanks, HD, this time I printed the instructions, I needed a refresher course, as well.
It's a beautiful day, so I think I will go outside and enjoy it.
-
oooh. congrat's Hunky. 29 again?! lol.
I can't wait to see those pics, Bonnie! soon please.
Sorry I couldnt help. I can follow instructions, but I am crap at explaining.
Enjoy your day Leggy! Everyone enjoy your day!
hugs, Choc xo

Graduation went with out a hitch. I get so excited for the kids. Sometimes my students might be the only one to have graduated from high school. I tell then to enjoy the feelings. I only have three days left.
I haven't had to have mamo in two years, when you have continuous chemo no need.
Hunky you sink company sounds like our lawn-mower company. We ordered a new motor and received two. No wonder we have economic problems.
Chocolate loved the picture. You look like your mother. I'm sure you have heard that alot.
Have a great weekend.

I posted without reading the rest of the posts.
Hunky HAPPY Birthday late.
Chocolate thanks for the pic I want them all.
-
Ah, Wyoming, your chicklet's have hatched! Happy Birthday HD!!!! I didn't do much of anything today, but I laid out in the sun, for a bit (Vit.D), and read.
Tomorrow, I expect I'll do the same.
Monday, Memorial Day, I'll go to a local park and honor the men, who serve our country. We have a Veteran's Memorial Wall, and my family has three bronze plac's for my grandfather WWI, father WWII and brother Grenada. My two uncle's were also in WWII and a great great uncle was General George McClellan in the Civil War.
-
Sorry, I broke off rather quickly, I saw the Breaking News, about mammo.'s....
-
I think you look great. Thanks for posting the picture.
We have just arrived home from South Dakota and a neices wedding, I am so tired I was sick on the way home and went straight to bed. When I finally got moving this morning discovered I had a friend and her family coming to stay today. I had written down the first so this was a big shock. Roused myself enough to greet them but now am in bed again and taking my ambien. We have been friends for years so I think she will forgive me... Taking a phrase from everyone here, I am DAT!
Will check in tomorrow to see how everyone's weekend was. Kelly
-
Hey everybody! Kelly, hope you get your energy back together. Your friend will understand. Leggy, do you have to have two mammos a year? Oh my! I didn't read the entire article you were talking about. Wyoming...hope you got good blood counts today. I thought I remember you saying you were going in. My prayers are with ya. Choc, how are those new puppies? Did you only keep one? I am confused as usual. KKing....how are you doing? Bonnie, have you been experimenting with the pictures? It is a pain in the behind to post them I know. Good thoughts to all.....HunkyD
-
Hi girls, Monday I see the Onc. and I'll ask about my mammo., and complain about all my pain, if he has time.
DAT

Hi everyone. My #'s went some more. We are going back to gemzar and carboplatin every three weeks as it worked with this regiment. Also I will probably doing compassionate care with the PARP in about two or three weeks. Just have to do the paper work. I feel fine so it hard to imagine what is happening with body and the cancer. I don't have any pain or cough. I am just taking it one day at a time. Doing what ever I want and when I want.
Kelly get your rest so you cant enjoy the summer with your children. Friends will understand.
Leggy fingers are crossed for you.
Chocolate how is your baby doing. When do you get him? Have you picked out a name yet?
Hunky don't worry about being confused, I'm confused alot of the time too. We can always blamed on chemo brain.
This is my last day of school. YEAH. I hope it warms up. I want a nice summer.
Have a good week.
Wyoming

hi gals! yes, the weather if finally warming up. school is almost out - congrat's on that wyoming! and all the babies are being born. Everywhere around here are baby cows, horses, robins...you name it.
And my puppy Diesel!!! We drove up to see him yesterday, even tho he is only 2 weeks old. his eyes were still closed but they were so cute! unbelievable! I am excited - 6 more weeks and then he gets to come home with me. I cannot wait. I think I've even been labelled "pathetic" by my family & friends who have heard sooooo much about this litter. I guess I dont have much else going on right now.
He was 17 oz when born, now is 3.3 lbs!!! There were only 3 pups so they get to eat as much as they want. I might have to go back to work just to feed my dog. LOL.
sorry, gals. i tried to insert a pic but i'm having problems tonite. either computer freeze or chemo brain - or both!
Hope everyone is feeling fairly well. Happy June everyone! xo Choc.
-
Wyoming, my friend, this doesn't sound like you got good news. Crap. I don't know what to say, other than shit. I've been so depressed lately, and feeling like I might as well just give up, but then hear about someone who has so much to offer, having such a hard time, it makes me think what a big baby I've been. I know I don't have it as difficult time as others, but I'm just so tired after work, and have little energy left to enjoy life. Then there are moments of joy, like seeing a cute little puppy, or a beautiful flower. I guess we have to make the moment.
-
Wyoming I agree. Numbers don't tell us how to feel they just validate us when they agree with how we feel. I wish you could come hang out here for a bit. I think about you everytime I drive through Wyoming to South Dakota. Keep doing what you want and feel able to. Love, Kelly
-
PS I wish I could sort out the picture posting. My big boys are too handsome in the wedding we just went to. I wasn't crying for the bride. I was crying over how proud of them I am. K
-
Wyoming, hope the GC trt gets you back on track, and with the PARP doesn't ruin some fun summer outings. I am so inspired by your attitude. You really don't understand your gift as a teacher with both students and your influence with people! I am like Leggy, tired and achy. I don't want to think about this sucking disease, but can't seem to not think about it for one day. Kelly, hope you can get those pictures figured out and you too Bonnie. I would love to see the pics. This group is pretty important too me. There really is nothing new with me. I did get our flower boxes ready for some annual flowers, Leggy, you would have been proud! LOL! No flowers yet. We are still in cool temperatures. KKing....hope you are fairing well. Choc...I can't hardly tell that you are in love with Diesel! LOL! Take care and hugs to all....HD
