still having periods through chemo

hi ladies

just a quickie

anyone in the same position as me and still having periods through there chemo

i dont know if its normal or not????

i have just had my 4th chemo out of 6 and i am still having periods i am 34 any suggestions.

    My periods didn't stop until just before I finished chemo (I had 6 rounds as well).  I was nervous about it but my doctor just kept telling me I had strong ovaries and not to worry.  Evenutally it ended.  My last period started September 23 and my last treatment was October 14.  I haven't gotten it back but I'm on ovarian supression.

    Dear Allison-

    I to also had my cycle for a while during TCH chemo. On the 3rd chemo my cycle started on the same day. Haven't seen my period since January.

    I'm really confused about my situation. I had a "normal" (but different, somehow) period starting a few days after chemo (TC) #1. It slowed, but it never stopped. Now I'm one week post my second infusion, and I'm spotting every day. Some days are heavier than others, but it seems there's no rhyme or reason to it! This has been going on for three weeks now.

    Those of you who had periods during chemo, were they regular, or were they different in any way?

    mine are normal periods but they seem to be between 8-12 days late but they still arrive.

    I still get my periods and I am starting my 5th treatment next Friday (out of 6). They come pretty much on time, maybe a day or 2 later each time. I hope they keep on coming!!
