Congrats Sandy...it makes me tired just thinking about it...
Love the new avatar Mona...you are one pretty sister
-
Thanks Linda - the picture is not the greatest but hubby did take it this past weekend at a party. My ankle is healing but it's slow going. I am going to PT 2x a week and that is helping a lot. Doc figures another 6 weeks or so. Just ready to be dancing again!
Sandy - what a great accomplishment! Congrats indeed.
Joyce - isn't hail a pain! So sorry you are dealing with all that damage.
-
Sandy-Congrats! Beautiful picture! You are so full of life and energy!!!!
October will be here before we know it!
-
October?? What's happening in October?? So good to see you kjbell!
Sandy...you inspire me!
Joyce!! Well...HAIL!
I got my path report today....both tests came back b9!! What we were feeling was a lymph node that was reacting to the scar tissue. My bs was mostly happy that they didn't find any breast tissue. Good thing she didn't mention this to me before the surgery!!!! She said that it's very difficult to remove ALL of the breast tissue and that's why we need to be constantly aware and checking. We all can certainly learn from our dear sweet friend Kitty!
Anyway I'm still pretty sore since she had to mess with my pectoral muscle to get underneath it.
Please send prayers to our dear Susie! She can certainly use as many we can send her way!
Also be thinking of Kitty as she heads to NYC Wed!!
Jancie URGH!! I hope things are smoothing out for you and I hope you are healing.
HUGS all round!! Jazzy
Teresa...so sad for your bad week. I think of you often!!
AWE HECK...I THINK OF ALL OF YOU TATA SISTERS!!!! If I haven't mentioned you please know that I DO think of you REALLY!!
-

Just got back from a long weekend and couldn't have been greeted with better news about Jazzy! I'm so relieved for you!
We went on an MX5 tour for the long weekend here in Canada. 55 Miatas invaded the wonderful USA touring New York, New Hampshire and parts of Vermont. The weather was great. We had fabulous top-down (convertibles, not our tank tops...lol) sunny rays coming down on us and all I could think of while enjoying the greenery and scenery was how wonderful it was to be alive and I thanked the Lord for each and every one of you for being there, for being sisters and prayed for good health for all.
Terri
PS My tank top is washed and ready to go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Aw Terri how lovely! Thank you and the same to you! Sounds like a really fun weekend
-
Terri, sounds like you may have been close to me! I'm in southern NH. You had the PERFECT weekend for it.
-
Hello all! I added a new picture of my girls and me on Mother's Day. I am being very careful with breast checkups for these girls; they both have already had their first mammogram. The both wear and love Tracey's t-shirts ---"Check these out -- at least once a month".
-
Mona,
We were in North Conway but only had a couple of hours for shopping before dinner so I wasn't able to do too much damage to my credit card!...lol And yes, the weather really cooperated, it was great.
Terri
-
Oh I love shopping in North Conway!
-
Jazzy: I'm so happy to hear your great results!
I'm really enjoying seeing everyone's new pics--it'll be so nice to meet in Vegas.

Lilah and Terri. isn't N. Conway the BOMB? I spend serious cash at the Nike outlet every time I'm up there.
Laura, we need a recent pic of you! I wanna see how long your hair is getting.
-
Hey - Am I the only one saving my change for the slots??? Or are all the machines credit card only nowadays??? LOL!!! Come on ladies! Get your arms ready to do some one armed bandit playing!!!!
-
LOL Hood! Well you won't need change ... you'll need bills! It's all ticket in/ticket out now... which is cleaner but I kinda miss the bucket of quarters I used to wander around with
(And you definitely are NOT the only one -- I love the slots!)
-
Is there any chance to get 3 more tops for us gals coming in from Western Canada??????
Jazzy good news -

I LOVE THE SLOTS!! WOO HOO!!!
Saskie, unfortunately there aren't anymore shirts. :-( You could buy a save the tatas shirt from www.savethetatas.com. It's just they aren't carrying the Vegas shirts anymore and we bought what they had left. So sorry!!
Thinking of Kitty as she heads to NYC today!!
HUGS! Jazzy

Serious question - I'm over on farecompare.com looking at flights..... Is there a certain time we should plan on being in Vegas on Friday? Does everyone leave first thing Monday morning???? Do we have a final goodbye/See you next year breakfast together? Does $405 from Washington National to LasVegas sound reasonable?
-
Joyce- It is the final price, with taxes and all the other garbage thrown in? If so it isn't bad, but I am hoping to do better The distance from Sarasota to Vegas is about as far as from DC. I found a flight for 363. including everything, but Sarasota is limited in their choices. Just to give you an idea. JUDY
-
Hood - I am flying from Atlanta and my ticket was $360 with all fees / taxes. As for time I think they want us there before 2 PM and leave after 12 noon? Hopefully someone will come chime in with that.
-
BYW - for the sistas who don't have the Vegas tata shirts - I may also bring some of my other shirts like "Bad Ass Tatas" and "Rock'n Tatas" - so don't feel that you have to have the Vegas ones - we can rock whatever we have and still be a group!
-
I lucked out and got a direct flight for $280. I booked around Easter when they had a special going. I will be arriving mid morning (due to time change) and departing mid morning. I think we have to check out by 11am.
