    Grover,

    I am so sorry you've had that experience.  Four years of pain is horrible!

    I've read several threads on this site where women had their implants removed and went flat - I am pretty sure there are several in this forum.

     Good luck to you - I have been totally flat since my bmx in Feb. and have to say that it's no big deal to me anymore.  It was at first - I was extremely self conscious, but now I don't even think about it.  I don't wear forms at all - I have lymphedema on my right side and the bras are totally uncomfortable.

    Hang in there!  You are obviously one tough cookie if you've been dealing with four years of pain.

    i also didnt have recon. actually, not a choice 4 me. i have mult. health issues ps refused. but, not sure i woul have, with all the problems lots of ladies have. i love the fact that i can choose any size i want, or just not at all! i do miss the little cleavage, tho, 2 be honest. hope someday they'll figure that out!it'll be perfect. i also have a problem with lymphedema, and bras. fix it by wearing a cami w/ shelf bra, a little velcro on my forms., good to go. everyone gets to make their own choice. good luck with w/ever u choose!!    light and love, 3jaysmom
