    Day 4 - Novena for Special Intentions and Intercesstion

    I pray to St. Perergine, St. Agatha, and St. Lucy to intercede for our special intentions with Our Heavenly Father; for all on this support board who have been touched by breast cancer, especially Kittycat; may they find peace of mind. For my sister, Barbara, whose cancer has progressed, please give her comfort.

    the house is coming along - right on schedule almost.  the drywall is in.  here is a pic, but actually, it's much better now.. taped and mudded (?)

    Ladies.. a super humble lady here on BCO needs prayers of healing.. She just CANNOT get healed...

    Hernia.. seroma... you name it.. it has been like two years... and she WILL NOT HEAL! Her belly is so large from the Hernia... she looks preg.

    Can we pray for her please.... she needs God to take over here... poor thing.

    Her name is SUSIE .

    Ladies, my sons truck "broke" yet again on the way home from his wife's college graduation. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.. I swear...

    Could I ask you ladies to please STORM heaven for him... it is one thing after another and it WILL NOT STOP...

    for Susie, Estepp's truck of the son and my breast cancer sisters I pray.

    About the house.. hubbie has a permanent employee, his brother and hires laborsource help.  He has hired companies that he uses for drywall, electrical etc.  He'll do the trim and the cabinets (i think).  We are excited and stressed.  eek.

    Happy Pentecost Sunday!  I pray that the Holy Spirit fill each of us with the desire to know Him and love Him even more than we do now, and that we may preach the gospel whenever possible through our daily actions.     Use words, too if all else fails!  :)

    Hi BC friends,

    I went on a retreat this weekend.  It was advertised as a healing retreat.  Although it was a little too didactic for me (the priest is a scripture scholar) several things happened that I want to share.  Last night the priest had us mediate on Jesus's passion and the agony he suffered for us.  He spoke about Jesus being scourged at the pillor--using the words "stripes" to indicate how we can combine our suffering with Jesus through his stripes (meaning the wounds on his back from the whips).  This is not typically how I pray, with such graphic images.  

    Anyway, last night after the healing service there was a small social.  A woman came over to be and asked me if I wanted to see a picture on her camera.  The picture was taken in front of one of the buildings at the retreat--a brick building.  The picture in her camera had STRIPES on the brick, if you can imagine what I mean.  I wished I had thought of asking the woman to send me the pic. 

    What this means I don't know, but I saw it with my own eyes.  Just wanted to share and see what you guys think. xo
