Symptoms of Mets to Lung

I noticed a chest rattling when I lay down at nite with a cough. Did anyone's lung mets start this way? I am so scared. Should I call my onc or my primary care doc? It's been 2 weeks now.

    Oh, honey, I'm sorry you sound so scared.

    I always try to assume that it isn't cancer, and start out with my regular doc, as long as it isn't something to do with the scars, etc. So my first choice is always my PCP.

    There is a particularly vicious cold going around here, with people (including Daughter and Husband) hacking and gurgling for WEEKS.
