"Lump" below collar bone
Hey all. I don't know how many of you remember me. I"m doing good. My sweet baby is now almost three! Boy does time fly.
Quick question. On my right side (affected side) I feel a lump right under my collar bone - about right where it meets my shoulder. Just wondering if anyone has had something like this. Also I feel a pea size lump in my armpit area.
Any thoughts you give would be great!

For peace of mind make an appointment and get it checked out. Best wishes.

Definitely get your "lumps" checked out. It is better to do something sooner rather than later. I've had 2 in my armpit area on the affected side. A core biopsy was done on one and it turned out to be fatty tissue. The other was felt to be a lymph node. I am thin and bony and can feel a number of small nodes down my side. Take care!

For sure get this checked out. I am going through the exact same thing right now and am also very nervous. Found a swollen, rather thick area below my collar bone on the mastectomy side. Just had an ultra sound this past Tuesday and am now awaiting an appt. for a biopsy and breast MRI. I could see two round shaped black spots on the ultrasound, so I think I know what is happening and it is probably not too good. But please know matter how scared you are, go and find out because it could be nothing, but you won't know until you get it checked. I was diagnosed in Sept 2005, so I am very lucky that I have gone this long. Let us know what happens, I will be very interested.
Take care of yourself

Thanks everyone. You told me what I knew - that I need to call the dr. I just get crabby about it
.
Fionn-I've ended up on meds to stop my migraine auras and they are definately working. I got a bit cocky and dropped my dose down one and they kicked back in. That bothers me some because I wonder what they'd be doing if I wasn't on them at all. I've also got migraine meds for when the aura go to a full migraine. They work wonders and I feel like I'm cheating by having a headache stopped so severely in its tracks! Sometimes in the back of my mind I wonder why I"m getting the auras now, but I've had all the tests that tell me it's nothing to worry about. Still ...... you know how that goes!
Ok all I'll call my onc today and set up an appointment. Is it okay if I frown crabbily if I do it??

Hi...just saw this post by chance. PLEASE get that little lump under your collarbone checked. My sister had same thing, 6 years after Stage 2 b.c. was gone. Docs siad it was too small to biopsy, but she should have insisted.

I found my secondaries while putting my hand bag on my shoulder
it was several lumps around the collar bone - now have mets to the sternum & bones & liver
hope it is nothing for you but get it checked out
