Ladies just wondering if your girlfriends or family members want to "cop a feel" of your new girls. My friends are always asking touch or see them.Does this happen to you? What is your response?

I just look at them like I must have heard them wrong

I'm with kmmd.  It's none of their business what's inside my shirt.  (And, I don't have any "new girls", anyway.  I had a mastectomy and might or might not be wearing a foob.)

OTOH, when my beloved uncle asked if he could "rub" my bald scalp when I was just finishing chemo, I grinned, took off my cap, and said "Sure".  After all, he was at least as bald as I was!

(Edited to add:  I must run with a different crowd.  Since I was dx'd two years ago, I've only had one person even ask me what type of surgery I had.  This was a female cousin at a small get-together at another cousin's home.  The cousin asking the question apologized in advance and asked if it was too personal to inquire whether I'd had a mastectomy or a lumpectomy.  I know it sounds kind of funny, but it felt weird to me that no one else seemed to care.  BTW, there's no way anyone at that get-together would have asked for a peek.  It just wouldn't have been mentioned.)

I had a relative ask to see my mast scar. I Just Said No.

I find this appalling! I think the only possible reply would be -- Sure, if I can cop a feel of yours too! Or, if it's a man that's asking  . . . you can guess. What nerve!

I never had anyone ask to see my replacement.  I kept showing my best friend my "baby boob" as it grew and then the finish.  At the office, all the nurses (I"m one, too) got flashed.  They didn't have to ask.  My dh never asked.  He'd had prostate cancer surgery, so likely didn't care.  LOL

I guess if my other friends or family asked, I would have shown them, but maybe not.  I just figured everyone on the east coast and the full south had seen them, they became NOT real to me anyway.
