I am grateful that I was there for my son last night. He was chosen for Jr Board of Directors for our local bank. They always choose a group of incoming seniors ( High School ). At his banquet last night I began to cry during the opening prayer, just thinking about the possibility that things could be different and I could have missed this important night in his life. I am so grateful that the Good Lord allows me to be here with my family. Susie
-
Susie, that is so beautiful. I believe we are all more grateful everyday as we see things with a different set of eyes and a different heart. I am grateful to my son and his girlfriend who came over last night to bring me some hot & sour soup after my last surgery. I am grateful I am done with reconstruction and now completely ready to move on with my life.
