radiation on neck area

Hello to everyon ehere. I usually post on stage IV forum but I wanted some advices about the prospect of radiating my neck area. I have a palmable neck tumour that insists for the last 1 year although I am on chemos. Is anyone here experienced neck radiation? What are the side effects that I should be waiting for?
