KBUGMOM NEEDS US......

Katiebug...My heart jumped for a second when I saw kbugmom's name.
Last night we were talking about your Mom. I even copied some of her funny posts and posted on Thinking out Loud where I met your mom. Oh honey I'm so sad you feel this way.
I can imagine the pain without even meeting her in person (except few phone calls) I still think of her. What can we do to ease your pain/
You can post right here and connect with the women who loved your mother very much.
She made us laugh, we sang, we slapped. She was a very special Mom who loved her children very much. You already know that.
Please come here anytime you need to talk. We are here for you.
This thread will be kept alive. I bring flowers to her for some how I feel good.
I'm so glad you decided to write.

Yes, please come to this room of PM us your feelings. I lost my Mom to BC, that was 14 years ago and I still miss her sooo much. She was not as young as your mother was, mine was 64 years old when she passed.
Time will heal your heart♥ I found it very therapeutic to do the things my Mom loved to do like decorate on the holidays even though I did not feel like it, I entertained on the Holidays as my mom would, my aunt said to me that my mother would be very proud of the way I fixed up the house (BTW, I am living in the house I was brought up in and my mom died in). My father is in assisted living so my DH and I moved into the house over a year ago, it really felt weird to be back but now I feel it is mine and I take care of it the way she did.
It takes time to heal.

IKBUGMOM DAUGHTER,
I assume that my brothers are doing well. But to be honest I dont really know. I have talk to them very little. And no body talks about its. I guess its there way of getting through it. There has been only one person in my family that has call and asked how i was doing. Me and my mom would always say you cant chose your family but you can make your own. and I think thats why she loved you ladies so much, you were like her family. But the grand babies are doing wonderful, growing like weeds. They miss their grandma but know she in a better place.

Katiebug,
You need to keep coming back and and talk to us. Tell us more about your Mom. If you are not getting the support you need from your friends and family, I know that we would love to help you. Like you said, your Mom considered us her family, and that makes you a part of it too!
I hope you are having a better day today. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi katie,
Let us know how your day was today. Hope you are doing well. Are you working? What do you do?
I was at a baseball game with my 11 year old and it started lightening so they called the game.
Hope you are having nice weather. Don't you just love the spring!

Kbugmoms Daughter,
Well today I feel the same. Same things just a different day. Yes I work. Im a receptionist at my boyfriend/parents automotive service. my boyfriend and I are in the process of trying to build my dream home. But I'm having trouble deciding on a house plan I absoultely love. haha. The weather is ok , little rainy and cloudy all this week. And Makraz you ask me to tell you more about my mother. What information would you like to know other then you already know.
-
Anything and everything!! She often spoke of her kids and grands, she loved you all so much. Did your mom ever work? What did she do? Hobbys etc.
Building a dream home sounds awesome!! What plans are you looking at? Do you have a favorite style?
Are you able to talk to your boyfriend about your Mom? Try and talk to him and let him know how you are feeling. Some men are amazing listeners!
I'm glad you posted again. Please keep us posted!
XOXO

I forgot to tell you the best part.......I was interviewed for 11Alive News on Saturday too!......I got to tell my whole community my story and I also gave out facts about BC and that I believed that if we find the cause we will find the cure!........How neat is that?..........
I had my mother, my sister, Kbug, CTG, Zarowny, and as many others we have lost as I could fit on the "In Memory of" plaque they gave us to wear......It was very inspirational and uplifting.....I met a man who had just lost his wife 2 months prior to TN BC......And then I met a woman who is a 16 yr and 6 yr respectively survivor........I met a woman who was only 2 months out from surgery and had just had chemo a few days before and I met one woman whose husband was a BC survivor.......There were over 17,000 people there!.......All celebrating and remembering those who have or have had BC and those who are thriving and those who we have lost.......I was alone there yet I was surrounded by friends and families to where I didn't FEEL alone.....I felt a part of something amazing and extraordinary........I can't wait til next year's event!....... -

(((((Susan I didnt forget you. I was away for 3 weeks visiting my daughter in Hawaii))))
Sharing these flowers with you my dear friend.
You will always be in my heart.
