sorry, lousy at pictures, but I can proudly say I just made the best 1:12 miniature onions I've ever attempted.  For the first time they even have the slight lines.  Looking through the magnifying glass, I still looks like the real thing.  Yipppeeeee. 

In the past I've always had something be just a little off, but finally I have gotten it perfectly. I know it seems trivial, but it is nice to have something come out juuuuuuust right.

Thany you bubbies for starting this thread.  You're right.  pleasant pictures, crafts and endeavors are good for the soul.

Beautiful irises, Bren and Day!  I've never seen marbled irises before.  Wow!

I've got a painting and a drawing to post but I have to take pics first.  Usually whenever I finish something it goes in the flat file and there it stays. I'm going to quit doing that, regardless if they turn out good or bad. Life is too short for that, right?

I made a necklace for my mom for mother's day.  She called to thank me and said, "I think you could make something like this ... it's beautiful, where did you get it?"  I got a kick out of that.  Wish I had taken a pic of it.

I made my second necklace for myself.  I'll take a pic.  I wish I knew how to hang the beads on little extensions (the one's that look like skinny long nails).  I couldn't figure out how to wrap the wire at the top where it connects.  I'll try to get a pic and post it.

I've spent most my free time painting cleaning and decorating the guest room/office.  It's so pretty now, and a little different from before.  I abandonded the chabby chic and went with painted clean white furniture.  Painting the trim is a hassle, as I have crown molding and corniche's in every room.

There are some good jewelry making tutorials on this page http://www.fusionbeads.com/beadingfaq/bead_techniques.php  The wire working techniques section has a wrapped bead loop tutorial.  If you don't have head pins you can make spiral ones out of regular wire.  There's a tutorial for making those too. Sometimes I'll make just a single tiny loop instead of a spiral under the bead.  It looks vintage that way.

Bubbies, I love lilacs! For some reason I wasn't able to grow any here in Oklahoma. I had issues growing lilac, lavender and lovage. Everything else goes just wonderful, I even have grapevine, but not those three.

Bren, you can adjust the photo size in the message itself, if you click on it after it was inserted then go to the corner, click and drag. Sometimes it might take two tries if the photo is too big, just click right arrow, then click again on the photo, go to the corner, click and drag.

Well I am in the 2nd day from the first treatment. I had a nasty reactiont to Taxotere at first, hot chest, tight throat, couldn't breathe, bpand heart rate shot up, but they gave me Benadryl and steroids, waiting half an hour, and started again with a slow drip, and I had no problems afterwards. I feel pretty good now, no nausea, no more lightheaded or fatigued than I usually am. I already started working on more tuff, I made some eyes for future dolls, restarted a sculpture I wanted to make in a while now,Cernunnos, the horned god of the Celts (I want him to be a heart-breaker), I already made the wire armature and put on the armature clay. I'm waiting for my boyfriend to wake up and help me with mixing the clay for it (I need to mix three kinds of clay to obtain the proper texture and color). It's a beautiful and sunny day, even if it's a little on the chill side - about 65F right now, supposed to get up to 68F today.

I don't know why I have two prints and I don't know why they are so large.  I did resize them.  But at least you can see the detail.  Her intitials and birthday are on the bonnet ties.

I have three different colors of lilacs... double whites, light purple and a dark purple. They are all in full bloom right now.

I have to figure out again how to get a picture on here again. It took me a while the last time. 

They're beautiful Bubbies.  I always type a post in a word processing program first and paste it here.  I've lost too many pearls of wisdom to the black hole of text.  It's also an easier way to keep track of everyone.

Day...I had the same reaction to the Taxotere.  How many cycles are they giving you? 

Betty...Do you ever sell them?  If you don't, do you have a pattern you use?  It's incredible.  Makes me want to dust off my sewing machine.
