OK another stupid comment comment

I didn't realize until months later that my husband was asked by several friends "is she going to live?". He was so devastated by my diagnosis that this didn't help him out at all! For me the hardest was when someone gave me a caringbridge post to read for inspiration about their cousin who had BC. I had just had my mastectomy and sat down to read the posts for inspiration. Unfortunately the person had aggressive BC and passed away. I was not prepared for that and it upset me so much at the time. I realize it wasn't meant to upset me but I would have felt better if I was forewarned!!
