beachies. in case you didn't see it elsewhere on here.
i start this morning as my first full day of wearing a compression sleeve & gauntlet.
i'm too exhasuted from all of the work/fun of last week to report anything other than sorrow, but hopeully will take a few more happy pills over the days ahead and come to grips with one more reality of this journey.
at some point, i will have to come up with "cover-ups" that will be child-friendly.
today, just getting my brain wrapped around the need.
we're in a UHaul headed into DC to deliver furniture to DD2 and attend her doctoral recital. i'll plrobably sleep thru the whole experience.
xx00xxx00xx00xx
Thanks for the encouragement.
Sleep was a good tonic, last night.

Faith, I TOLD you months ago that you shouldn't have still been swollen and sore! I am so angry FOR you!
As one artist to another I commiserate. I am "lucky", I only have truncal LE!!
-
Kathleen: Love the pictures, very nice! So how are you doing?
Charmaine
-
lots of new beaches here in Charleston
here is Shem Creek, on our way to the beaches
-
Lisa. You've really 'captured' those clouds. Feels like I'm right there.
Today we're just outside of DC, at our daughter & SIL's little bungalow home. The men have a list of projects & more projects. My plan is to stay out of their way. DD's doctoral recital is tonight.
My only agenda items between now & then are to clean myself & clean the fresh fruit for tonight's reception.
Beachie-Monday to one & all.

-
I need a beach.
-
I am so upset that soon these gulf coast beaches will be ruined.
-
We are seafood wholesalers and rely on the gulf coast fisheries for alot of our bussiness. How tragic and they are not even talking about how this happened.
-
This one is in MIssissippi. We used to visit this area alot when my kids were young.
-
Here are some of the victims.

Found this photo on Flickr had to share.

OMGoshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Mum.
I looked at the Flicker pic on my little phone screen while waiting at the airport. I didn't 'get it' until just now on my laptop. Can you imagine????
I bet even your dear hubby was in amazement on that one.
Thanks for sharing.
I am home now in OH for two nights in a row, then take off for a quick over-night in Pittsburg. My DD1 has volunteered to come along and do the driving & hauling, so it looks like I'll have another chauffeur. YIPPEEEE.
-
BTW Mum.
Your hubby's picture of the two pelicans in tandem is my fave of his. Feel free to post it at least once a month-or-so. I just LOVE it!
Where's everybody else today??
Are you at a real beach somewhere with your toes in the sand??
-
Almost there Faith.
Leaving this Thursday 1:10 in the afternoon and flying non stop for 10 hours and 40 minutes.
My DD suggested to buy some wine in the plane. hahahahahaha
I already cut my anti anxiety pills in half so i can take less, relax without getting drowsy.
OMG I'm terrified again.
-
Oh Sheila. I've been so wrapped up in my saga, I misplaced that you were headed to the real deal!! I hope that you've got all sorts of batteries for your camera & tons of memory cards.
We want you to share your journeys!!
No being terrified. Go with the air currents so you can see the vistas.
What an incredible journey to embark upon!!
Will be thinking of you Thurs as you head to Hawaii & I go to Pittsburg. Any chance you want to trade destinations?? I'm willing!!!
