Well tomorrow is my surgery.  6 am I have to be at the hospital , having the SNB first then mastectomy. My plastic surgeon said his part is the longest, total time maybe 2-3 hours. Somehow I feel calmer today than the past two weeks. I want to get this over with, find out exactly what is in there, if there is anything besides DCIS and make my decisions from there. My brother and sister are coming in today to stay with me.  since I am divorced now 5 years, I really need them and my friends during this difficult time.  I am still in mourning for my beloved Remi that died a week ago and its made this so much harder.

Please everyone keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

Isabel

Isabel, I'm 3 weeks post bi-lateral with immediate reconstruction. My surgery was 5 hrs and I was in the hospital for 2.5 days.

I'm happy to hear that family will be with you - you will need lots of help for a few weeks.

Understand Remi is your guardian angel now who will see you thru this and it sounds like you have a wonderful network of friends who will be by your side as well.

God bless you and your medical team Isabel.

I am hoping that all went well today and that you are tucked away safely in your hospital room with lots of i.v. drugs flowing.

Sending prayers and good wishes your way!
