To Sir With Love - Lulu

Thanks for the memories of that song. I loved it!

Yes, don't turn your back on me baby

Stop messin' Ã'round with your tricks

Don't turn your back on me baby

You just might pick up my magic sticks.

    Black Magic Woman - Santana

    Well, she was just seventeen,
    You know what I mean,
And the way she looked was way beyond compare.
So how could I dance with another (ooh)...

I saw her standing there - the Beatles.

    Sail on by
Your time has come to shine
All your dreams are on their way

    Sail on Silvergirl...

Bridge Over Troubled Water - Simon and Garfunkel

    "Children, behave!"
That's what they say when we're together.
    "And watch how you play!"
    They don't understand.
And so we're running just as fast as we can,
Holding on to one another's hands.
Trying to get away into the night,
And then you put your arms around me and we tumble to the ground,
    And then you say.....

I Think We're Alone Now  (can't think you did it)

Well I wanna make love to you tonight
I can't wait till the morning has come
And I know now the time is just right
And straight into my arms you will run
And when you come my heart will be waiting
To make sure that you're never alone

Moondance (by my all-time-number-one.....Van "The Man" Morrison)

Wtih two cats in the yard

Life used to be so hard

Now everything is easy 'cause of you

Moondance - Van Morrison (a great song...Tupelo Hunny is my first favourite Van song though!!)

    Again the morning's come
    Again he's on the run
    Sunbeams shinin' through his hair
Appearing not to have a care
Well pick up your gear and gypsy roll on ... roll on

Suzanne's song is Our House by Crosby, Stills and Nash.  Ever since the tv show Cheers, every time I hear that song, I hear Frasier and Lilleth singing that song on one of the episodes.

Not sure about Sugar's song, will have to think about it.

    my sweet Melissa

It's not in the way that you hold me
It's not in the way you say you care
It's not in the way you've been treating my friends
It's not in the way that you'll stay till the end
It's not in the way you look or the things that you say that you do

Hold The Line.....love isn't always on time!  Was that Toto?  Definitely a fave 45 when I was a kid!

If there's a cure for this I don't want it

If there's a remedy I'll run from it

Think about it all the time

Never let it out of my mind

    'Cause I love you

yes, Toto, heard it on the radio this morning (I keep a pad & pen in my car now LOL)

    Love Hangover - Diana Ross

I don't need a whole lots of money,
    I don't need a big fine car.
I got everything that a man could want,
I got more than I could ask for.
I don't have to run around,
I don't have to stay out all night.
'Cause I got me a sweet ... a sweet, lovin' woman,
And she knows just how to treat me right.

Some Kind of Wonderful - Grand Funk - great song!

    When I need good lovin',
I always come home to you.
You freed my lifetime of the blues.
Yes, I got that old-time feeling
    Burning deep inside my soul.
    And I am yours...baby I'm yours.

Poco (wow...now that's blast from the past I loved Buffalo Springfield, too) Here's one of my favourites:

    We've taken care of everything
The words you hear, the songs you sing
The pictures that give pleasure to your eyes
It's one for all, all for one
    We work together, common sons
Never need to wonder how or why

The Temple of Syrinx (sp?) from Rush's 2112

Once a story's told, it can't help but grow old

    Roses do, Lovers too

So cast your seasons to wind

    And hold me, dear

We're All Alone - Boz Scaggs - love him

I once knew a man, very talented guy
He's sing for the people and people would cry
They knew that his song came from deep down inside
You could hear it in his voice and see it in his eyes

I did and still do not know this song!! - My Man by the Eagles

Oh I could hide 'neath the wing
Of the blue bird as she sings
The six-o'clock alarm would never ring
