edited June 2014 in Not Diagnosed With a Recurrence or Metastases but Concerned

I was diagnosed with DCIS in 1/09.  Had lumpectomy and radiation.  The DCIS was on the side.  Mammogram 12/09 was ok.  Now on the underside there are ridges that as far as I know are relatively new.  I hadn't noticed it before. 

Anybody had something like that suddenly come up.  I do have a followup visit with the radiation oncologist on Thursday.  That was scheduled 6 months ago when I saw her in Oct.

    Hi Dietcoke -- you might also want to post this on the DCIS forum to make sure you get lots of responses.  Sorry I can't answer you question.  I'm a diet pepsi girl!

    Oh konakat - it's diet coke all the way.  But I respect that you're a diet pepsi girl!

    JO - my radiation was not full breast radiation.  I had mammosite so the area where the ridges are wasn't directly radiated but I'm sure it spread but just how far I don't know.  

    I see the radiation oncologist Thursday so she will be able to check it out.  She told me before it's a very messy breast so it could be fibroids I suppose.  In addition to the DCIS I also have LCIS and fibroids.  The DCIS was removed, but there was LCIS in the 2nd lumpectomy site and something else I can't remember.
