Los Angeles ladies...

Hello Sisters!!!

I was just wondering if there was a support group for girls, specifically under the age of 30, who live in the Los Angeles area and have been diagnosed with BC.

There are lots and lots of Breast Cancer support groups, but a majority of the members are 35+. I remember when I was diagnosed last year at 24, I wanted to speak to someone more close to my age who could better relate with me in my situation.

If a group doesn't already exist, I would love to start one! BC under 40 is already rare, but under 30 is even more unique! I would love to meet other girls who fall into this category... it would be nice to make a new group of friends who can truly share with you an experience so rare...

Just a thought.. hope I hear back from someone!

Hi I'm 31, do I still fall in your category?

I'm in LA, in Southbay area. You are right, there are BC support groups, but the women are mostly 50+. I met few younger women between 30-40, but they do not attend any groups exactly for this reason.
