Just finished w/Rads now a scare on other side

I just finished my last radiation treatment today.  But, I can't breath a sigh of relief yet.  Lately, I noticed a lumpy area in my "good" breast and they want to do an ultrasound on Friday AM. 

Back in Nov., I had an MRI done and was told that there was a cyst on that side and they wanted to keep an eye on it and will do another MRI in 6 months (May).  I'm not sure if this is the cyst they were talking about or something new.  Since Nov., I've had a total hysterectomy and am wondering if that could be playing a part in this.  (hormonal changes)

I was looking forward to a little bit of time to "heal" and regroup after treatment and now this.  I had a really hard time dealing with my diagnosis and needed anxiety meds.   Sorry if I sound whiney but I'm not feeling very strong right now to deal with this again.

    I know what you mean.  My tumor markers were normal, then up, then normal again and now up again and, as of yet, they dont know why.  I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

    I had my ultrasound and it showed 3 simple cysts.  One was pretty large and at the surface more and the other 2 were of a medium and a small size that were deeper.  I was told aspiration is an option but I will wait to hear from my BS as to what he thinks I should do.  The nurse also told me that these cysts do not turn cancerous.  I'm so thankful right now!
