5 NEW ANGELS

Hey Norm. Just wanted you to know that I'm getting stronger all of the time.
I will start my PT in earnest tomorrow and hope to regain some more of my range-of-motion.... in that my shoulder is pretty 'frozen' on the one side.
I've been "pacing" myself -- as hard as that may be for you to believe.
I'm now taking two walks a day.... each getting closer to 30 minutes.
I do a LOT of resting in between times. LOL.
Our FL sunshine continues to encourage me & I'm grateful to be surrounded by this light.
Wonder what's going on in your neck of the woods???
Just wanted you to know I continue to send you prayers.xx00xx00xx00xx00xx
Edited. Started a new page: whoooop whoooop! Must have a picture.
Here's a view from the ocean, last week: Daytonna Beach.

...........GOOD DAY EVERYONE..Sooooo happy to hear that you are regaining your strength Faith..Like you told me many times before BABY STEPS,the big steps will come soon enough....
These last few weeks have been a blessing,a learning experence,,a reality check for me. Guess Im not as young as I thought,I've had the boys since feb.14th.All is going well, but I guess I forgot how much work it is doing it on my own. When it gets really tough all I gotta do is think of Brenda and I get settled down.Just 3 more days then they go back to thier fosterhome............not looking forward to that,as difficult as it can be at times, its also soooo rewarding, gives me a since of being and these guys are real sweethearts(horns only come out once and awhile lol..)
Good to hear from ya Puppy..
Hope everyone is having a great day..... norm

NORM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You have no idea how much your long, newsy, personal post means to me. I've had a really challenging day & to come here and read your post has me in tears -- tho, they are happy tears.
I suppose I probably did suggest you take some baby steps, and it is almost "funny" that you should 'prompt' me with my own advice.
LOLOLOL
So much easier to give advice than to take your own well meaning, truthful insight.
More LOL.
Isn't it great to hear from Puppy??
I'll regroup tomorrow.
Tonight, I'm just putting my feet up and saying: Phew.............
Take care my friend.
I am sooooooooooooooooooo proud of you.
You may never understand how proud I am.
You're doing such significant, important work, Norm.
Give yourself a great big hug.

Hi All,
Have been mia as I was dealing with round 2 of cancer... I have now finished 6 tx of chemo and 25 rads (finished those wed) I now have 3 1/2 weeks off then will have a double masc and right lymph node dissection. I have to wait at least a year (or two) for reconstuction as oncs are worried cancer was very aggressive and could return. It sucks, but what can you do...
Its so nice to see familiar faces here and Norm it sounds like your doing so well! I have missed alot and will try to read (many) pages of missed posts.
Love and miss you all! Hugs Suz
-
SUZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's great to see you and I LOVE your smiling picture.
I've been sending prayers for you as you re-mount the battle.
I have opted NOT to have recon, so I can guide you thru that adjustment. I know it's gotta be a lot different if it's not 'your' choice.
So glad to see you, again.
Norm, this weekend I returned to my 'whirlwind' of fun -- presenting 3 different workshops in VA to much applause and encouragement. Then my hubby drove us the 8 hours home to OH. I have two schools this week and then an appointment with my surgeon..... see what he thinks is going on.

Norm. I don't know how I missed your angel parade.
It seems like I've gone "backwards" lately. Trust me, it's not because I've done 'too much' but because I've been battling an infection which has now manifested itself in all sorts of swelling and discomfort.
To tell you the truth, I am working sooooo hard not to be despondant.
We have made it safely back to FL after a week on the road, performing for a conference and then a couple of schools. So now I'll have a couple of weeks to log some more R&R..... I'm hoping and praying to start moving in the right direction.
Hope that you've got some upbeat plans for the weekend.

Faith, How is the infection, am hoping they are jumping on it quickly. Did you have your surgery in Jan? How long does this take to heal
I would hope you were past the infection stage.Love and hugs my friends, Suz

Norm & Norm friends.
I have just finished my first 'movie' project. It is my "how-I-spent-my-recovery-time" project. We just got it posted to YouTube yesterday........ the early feedback has been very encouraging.
When you have 5 minutes & 17 seconds and need a sense of 'calm' in your day, please watch it and then let me know what you think.
I have made a montage of dozens & dozens of my daisy photos and have set them to my daughter's intstrumental oboe music. I offer it to you as a refection-meditation.

Suz so glad to hear that you are home and on the mend, hopefully they will get your meds in order quickly. You must be reading me pretty good(ummm the kids love chocalate)lol..ok I will admit that I have been know to indulge once or twice..lol.and yes the chocalate was great but the 4 children I received at easter was fantatic...Must say though they are a handfull, not much free time on my hands the 3yr. old stays home with me all day while her brother and sisters go to school. Not that Im complaining,I love every second of it.
Faith great job on your daisy movie,it was very relaxing til the end at which time I cryed like a baby. I know Saint is smiling down on you.
The weather here as been great, sunshine n warm. I bought a huge little tikes bouncy house with slide, climbing wall n basketball hoop for the kids...to see them bouncing around in there is priceless. By the sounds of things they may be staying longer then expected , mcf called this week, cant find a home willing to take all four..sooo guess Im it....
