I've learned so much here, and am so grateful to everyone.  I especially appreciate all your posts, Beesie--which I read perhaps a bit too obsessively, but always feeling smarter, stronger, more prepared afterward.  I've read all the books, I think, but nothing has helped me as much as these posts.

    I second that!  I didn't discover this board until a year after my surgeries-- it would have made such a  difference. Beesie's posts especially provide more information than some of my doctors offered.  I had the same issue about a narrow margin after the bilateral and agonzed for months before I had a re-excision with the implant exchange. Two tumor boards vetoed radiation, but I felt very helpless. When I read about Beesie's situation I felt like I wasn't alone and perhaps I made the right choice.  I hate that we all have to be here, but I love that it's a safe environment for sharing information, venting, and support.     Thank you so much!  DCIS (and DCIS with a microinvasion, which is my diagnosis) is so confusing - it took me a long time to understand it and even longer to figure out how to talk about it (or write about it) clearly.  If sharing what I've learned can help shorten the learning curve for others, I'm delighted!

    I'd like to weigh in here too!  I agree, Beesie is the "bee's knees" when it comes to research...I wish I had her research skills!  Beesie, you're always so good at explaining complicated concepts and keeping an eye on little details some of us miss.  You've done a lot of good here for a lot of people!  Thank you!!!!
