After 8 Flipping Months.....
My chemo is finally ending.
Tommorow is my last taxol tx.
After 6 sessions of 5fu, A, and C drugs and then 12 weekly taxols I am done.
8 Months is a long time and I am glad it's over.
I am so thankful for the fact that I had very little se's, that my children never saw me sick or tired, that my hair grew back already, that I had a beautiful healthy baby, that I ran my first 5k on saturday so that I remember that come next year the race along with the anniversary of finishing chemo, for my new organic, over the top healthy new lifestyle, for my stronger relationship with God, for my new relationships with my bc/org sisters, for me new firends here in NC that supported me like no others, for my new appreciation for life, for how flipping good I actually feel, for the clarity in which I now see things and people around me, and finally for being alive and healthy.
Thanks all of you for listening to me rant, cry, and cry some more. I know I had some really emtiontional days I couldn't have gotton through without you guys. The way all of you stood by while I gave birth was so touching and something I wont forget.
I remember being on this site everyday 2-3 times a day-now I hardly come here which is really hard for me to believe.
I leave for Flrodai for 11 days and then I come back and do RADS. I start Tamoxfin this week and have my hysterectomy in May.
I am really focusing on my mental health as bc took way to much I want to live as normal as possible for as long as possilbe. It's time to say good bye to the fear.
Thanks again for all your love and support....

Jen,
I remember reading some of your first posts...you have really come a long way. When your just starting this mess, it's so hard to see the end. But, it does come and when it does... it's such an accomplishment. Enjoy your Florida vacation. You deserve it!

I LOVE reading your posts Jen. There are so many times through my journey that I am sitting reading thinking, "OMG...ME TOO!!!!"
Tonight I was panicky, scared for some strange reason. It came out of nowhere and gripped me. I just got back from a beautiful week at St Pete Beach with my 3 kids and husband.
I was coming to this board to post to ask for encouragement, but I don't need to start a topic....you gave me my strength back, my "Heck yeah, we will get through this and thrive" feeling.
WOW, I am so glad I logged on here tonight. Life is so about relating to other people, isn't it? That's what breast cancer has taught me. Not much else matters.
Thank you for your "PURE" honesty
-
Jen, doing the happy dance for you!
