My mom had IDC with MX. Lymph node: 2/10. The final pathology report is :

ER(+)

PR(+/-)

C-erbB-2(+/-)

CA15-3(+)

EMA(+)

P63(-)

Cannot understand why both + and - appears on several places. If you might understand this report, please drop a line. Many thanks....

THe ER + PR+ means that your mom's cancer is estrogen positive...that means that there are drugs she can take that will stop her body from producing estrogen and that will help stop the cancer from growing... I dont' know what the other things mean...but someone will be along that does and explain it. If not....call her doctor and ask him...  You have the right to know. Tami
