Anyone else with fibroids

Hi

This is what is happening to me so far.  Cancer found Dec 23rd. left breast 11 lynodes taken 11 have cancer

1st lumpectomy  Jan 13, 2nd Jan 27th

left masectomy March 4th.

Port put in March 23

lst chemo march 26 , sicker than a dog till they upped the nausea meds

Now I have a blot clot high up on my neck.  Taking Nadroparin Calcium.

On top of all this it was found i have huge fibroids in my uterus that cause me to pass large clots half the size of my palm. 

Now this anit clot medicicine is supposed to stop clots from happening. But no one can tell me how my period will be?  Just non stop bleeding? my white count is so low now and I am running a 100 temp this last day.

Dr knows all this and just tells me to keep an eye on the temps.  But I am wondering if my bleeding so bad is lowering the platlettes making my temp go up.

And if anyone else has the problem and can give me some advice.

    Sorry to hear about the fibroids.  I too had supersize fibroids (softball size) which caused continuous bleeding at times so heavy I ruined furniture. I eventually became severely anemic.   I let them go for several years and the symptoms were unbearable.  Having them removed was like a new lease on life. Fibroids are estrogen driven like your BC. I would push to get them out or "killed." There are several methods outside of surgery to  deal with them.

    To add to this have now found out I have a large blot clot in my right neck vien.  so now on daily shots of anti clogging meds.  Been a rough week for me.

    Hey Forest, I feel your pain too.  I had fibroids for years.  I had clots the size of a buick.  My dr said it would all go away after menopause.  Fast forward to age 55.  I moved to Florida and saw a new gynie.  She said what I have was not a period, and noone should have clots and bleeding for so long.  I had a total hyst and never had a drop of blood again .  I think I just wanted to believe first gynie because I was so afraid of surgery. 

      I had hyst b4 breast cancer.  I don't know how u would deal with breast cancer with chemo and a hyst so I agree with Tic and look for a way to kill them.  Discuss this with a gyno, it sounds like onacoligist (sp) is not hearing u.

    Thanks for the input ,  all the Docs up here are saying I have to get through the chemo before they will even look at touching the fibroids and uterus.  I think because they are so big a hysterectomy is the only way to get rid of them.  Is my fault for not realizing they were not menopause coming around and getting them taken care of before I found out I had cancer.  Major headache and pressure today but temp is down. whew,  thanks again
