    Kathleen, thank you so much for the flip-flops, they are so beautiful. Now gotta find me a pair of these in real time.  They look so comfy, particularly to wear around the house.

    Carollyn thank you so much for the welcome.  I think in the forthcoming week if weather permits, I should take a nice walk along our nature trail across the street and take some nice pics and upload them here.

    Hey Connie hanging in there, feeling better everyday!  We walked along the gravel road tonight, we could see the lake but alas no beach!!!

    Lisa glad  to see you home safe and sound.Where did the cruise stop and do you recomend it to others.Al and I are always looking for something different.Have some beach shots of Ocotol beach in CostaRica but can't find them.Not sure where DH stored that file.But i did find the birding files.This one is called a Thicknee bird.

    Lisa glad to see you are home safe and sound. How was the cruise and where did you stop? Would you recomend it to others? Al and I just returned from CostaRica it was a great week but very hot.Great for birding not so good for snorkling the waves and undertoe were very strong.

    I can't find the file with the beach photos yet but i do have birds.This one is a doublestriped Thick Knee

    Beachie-kids. I got to spend an entire day on a REAL beach yesterday.

    A spring-break, filled with life & activity beach on a bright, brilliant, balmy sort of day.

    Thanks be to heaven for the opportunity to walk and count blessings.

    First of all welcome, welcome, welcome to Charm..... so glad that you've 'found' us and have been officially welcomed with those cozy flip-flops. WOW, they looked super soft.

    I took TONS of pictures yesterday for our appreciation in the weeks to come.

    But in honor of Julz remembering that today is 'hump-day' I thought you'd all get a kick out of this one in particular. These young fellows were all seated around the tail-gate of a truck on their folding chairs. Looking rather glum. So I asked them to "pose" for me.

    They couldn't believe that this little ol' granny was serious. I assured them that if the pic turned out I'd post it on my blog (have already done so), but little did they realize I'd bring it here for us old timers to reflect back over youth and opportunity. LOL

    They're probably too young for most of our daughters. It was fun, though!!

    Spring break. All that youth. All that energy. I absorbed as much of it as possible!!!
