Thanks girls...I will take something before I go. I went of the pain meds within a week of the bmx so I hope that means I can handle the fills and chemo....so much fun who know!
I will update on Tuesday as to how it goes.
Thanks a million!

"Foobsaver" update: I asked my son if he had seen any freaky foobs on my computer and he said no. I kind of mumbled that I had taken them for medical reasons, and left it at that. He offered to change my screensaver option, which I really appreciated. One thing perplexes me - I have HUNDREDS of wonderful photos of my kids and trips and everything else. Why did my computer only switch over to foob shots, and not those lovely ones?
Back in the kitchen for me. One the one hand, it's great to be able to cook again. On the other, it's it's pretty cool being able to nap in the afternoon while others do the cooking for you.

300 club - love it! And I'm one of you. As a uniboober who isn't adjusting my healthy side, I get to stay small too when my exchange finally comes around. My PS said he'll use 250-280 cc, specifics to be decided at the exchange to best match my other side.
Congrats to all the recent successful surgeries, and best wishes to those on the docket this week - facecrafter, baxter, janathan!!!!

Does your valium that you take at night make you feel any different during the day? Is it stupid for me to be thinking that my valium is making me tired or is it still that pesky: you've had two operations inside of four months thing again?
Do you go back to work soon?
facecrafter: I wish a successful surgery this week and an easy recovery!
I go to PS tomorrow to discuss the fact that I feel so tight and hard 4 weeks post-exchange and I have a golf divut on my left side. But it's all cool...whippetmom talked me out of the tree

Hi there sweeties, another Ta Ta tiny, here, 5'1" and a C(Louise) and a D(thelma).
Hi Laura! Babe, it's not the money, it's the timing! That is my 25th wedding anniversary! As you can see from the hottie with the cat after him asleep on the couch, I can't leave him on our 25th!
(He is even better looking awake!)
Brenda, we can always use another Ta Ta Tiny! Nice to emeet you!
Judy, when I get there, you are my girl. I love your new avatar!
Laura, I was at about 400 when that happened in my TE. Once the permanent got in, it evened out nicely. Remember, your TE's are supposed to be stretching you, so I think it's just normal. However I would of course, run anything and everything that concerns you by your PS.
(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((to all my beautiful girls)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Good luck to all this week, and successful and squshy soft boobies when you wake.

Judy--You have been funny, supportive, encouraging, and giving for all these months as many of us have gone through exchange and you've had to wait and wait. Now it is your turn. I am so excited for you and hope that you sail through surgery and are pleased with your results. You are a filled with grace and I'm proud to be a Sister. Much love and hugs!!!
Looking forward to hearing your report.
Baxter best of luck!!!
I've been off since Friday and there are 3 1/2 pages to catch up on. If I've missed anything I'm sorry.
I wish everyone a healthy and positive week.
Hugs--Karen

KristenPink,
I was concerned that the valium was making me sleepy during the day, so I started cutting my 5 mg pills in 1/2. They still help a little at night, but I feel better during the day. I only have 2 more pills left, so that might be it for me.
I wanted you to know that it was during my 5th week post-exchange that I started feeling better. The tightness lifted and the foob pain really lessened. It's good that you are talking to your PS tomorrow, and I hope he gives you some good news. best wishes to you!
I'm officially back at work this week, but that means research and no teaching until the fall. I hope work is going well for you!

Hi Ladies!
Haven't been on the boards much and I am soooo far behind on the reading that I only did some scanning. Sorry I haven't kept up with what's going on with everyone.
Hey, to my surgery buddies this week....we're almost there! It's been a long rollercoaster for 17 months for me and my DH. I've had so many surgeries in such a short amount of time that I still get the willies when I walk into that hospital. But I'm so blessed to finally be at this point!
And about the swimsuits......if you think your town has a bad selection....in Maine you need to be rugged, so every swimsuit is fitted with it's own tool belt and a fly rod. (Ha)

Funny Baxter! You mean there's actually warm enough weather up there to wear a suit! LOL!
Best to all having surgery this week, soon you'll be on the healing side and celebrating your beautiful new bodies!
-
Hey Baxter! I grew up in Maine and know exactly what you are talking about! When the suits come out in the store, it's still winter. Once it might get warm enough to buy a suit, they are all gone and the winter coats are in the stores already! IT'S CRAZY
-
Katey...did you say bodies or boobies? Hmmmmm might be a dilema.!
Musiclover - You are so right about the stores. To blend the merging seasons, the mannequins are usually shown wearing a tankini and an LLBean zip out jacket..ski pole in one hand and tent pole in the other!
My PS is awesome and is doing the nips along with the exchange. He has a great sense of humor, he will be using those small tube like cookie cutter things to protect the nips I was thinking of how to cover these things up for Easter church service. I don't mind the idea of an Easter bunny, but I'm not sure how it would go over if I showed up at church looking like a playboy bunny! I'll have to work on my camouflaging skills!

Good luck to Facecraft, Baxter and Janathan! It's a momentous week for you!
I'm 5 days with my new nips, and have to keep reminding myself to be careful of them. My PS said 3 weeks of avoiding any kind of pressure on them. I don't want to interfere with the healing on the rads side, so I haven't resumed my massaging, and that foob is feeling tight. I'm just praying I can undo any scar tissue that forms in the next few weeks.
-
KristenPink: Hope you appt with your PS went well
. I have another followup appt on Wed---just a little over 3 weeks post op.Kristen: Hope your first day back at work went smoothly.
Dublin4: I agree with the others who have suggested taking a pain pill--whether narcotic or something like ibuprofen. I also got a prescription for a muscle relaxer. I never had to take it but several women have needed one so I got it just in case.Good luck Tuesday!

I took champagne for my pain management and for anxiety pre- MRI. Really good French champagne.

Gail, I like your style!

Hi Ladies!!!! Sounds like everyone is doing well! My Nipple/areola surgery scheduled for next week is getting replaced with an exchange from my current saline anatomical implants to silicone HP round implants! Here's hoping for symmetry! He's increasing the size & expanding the pocket to accomodate it on my reconstruction side by 90 - 100 ccs & replacing the augmented side with a silicone one of the same dimension and suture it back up higher for me. I hope it works!!!
Wish me luck ladies! -
Hood1980.
Good luck with your replacement. I'm thinking Imay do this down the road as my salines are a little crunchy and I'm lopsided! Wish I had done something before the nipple/areola procedure. Let us know how it goes!
-
GOOD LUCK TOMORROW JUDY AND CANDI!!!!
Judy, I am so happy that your day has arrived! You have waited far too long! I can't wait to hear all about the new girls!!
Sonia

Good luck to you Hood!
-
Hi there. Quick question - when they do the exchange do you end up with drainage tubes again?
-
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! It's been gorgeous here - finally. Just wanted to share that this weekend - I'm now 8 weeks post-revision - and I felt my new implant finally settle - yippee! It happened at 12 weeks the first time, so I guess since the skin and pecs are already stretched it happens faster the second time. So the operative word, ladies, is PATIENCE! I also went back to teaching my aerobics class this morning and survived just fine - not a bit of pain - double yippee!!
Judy - Tomorrow's your day, girl! We're are ALL pulling for you and wish you "yippee squishy!"
Lillies4Laurie - Welcome! Some ps's do us drains....some don't.....just depends on your ps..... Is your exchange coming up?
Hood - How exciting! You deserve it, too - it's been a long road for you, sweetie! Sounds like you'll be having a lot of pocket work, so I'll just warn you - keep on top of the pain meds! For some reason it was so much tougher for me with my revision....and my initial exchange involved a lot of pocket work, too.....
KristenPink - okay.....now I'm feeling left out....I could have been the QUEEN of the teeny tata club before bc.....does it count that my TE's were only filled to 245cc? Maybe a member "emeritus".......
Kristinka - Back to work, huh? Sure hope it went well today! The foob screen-saver story was hilarious! - just when you thought you had it under control, too.....
Dublin - if your ps prescribes them, try the muscle relaxants. Mine prescribed "Soma" which really took the edge off. Nice hot showers with the spray aimed right at the TE's were lovely, too. And stretching.....super important....everyday I did "snow angel arm" movements to keep things stretched out. Good luck tomorrow!
Janathan - Welcome - and good luck on Wednesday!
Candi - my dh....... flyfisherman/ wannabe fix-it guy that he is......would love one of those swimsuits....especially if it was a bikini. Good luck to you on Wednesday, too!
Fairportlady - when I was having all my foob discrepancy issues a few weeks ago, I decided that I just have certain days when they misbehave.....BFDs......"bad foob days"......gives new meaning to the acronym.....
-
Luna5,
I am sorry to be late in my prayers but have been off the boards for awhile. I hope and pray surgery went well and this is the END!!! I will caught up and hopefully get some news on how you are doing. I just went through my 5th surgery 3 weeks ago and I still feel totally drained. I will probably have the "pushem up" as well.... but BROTHER I need some time off. I appauled you for your stamina and hope this is the end result you were hoping for.
Hugs and prayers!!

I'm WAY behind here. So I'll just say welcome to the newbies, good luck to the surgeries and congrats on the new nips and foobs!Val, Love your new picture. Lilah, Mmmm, coconut water. I love it, it has a lot of potassium and other stuff. It's the juice from a young coconut so the flavor is very mild. You can usually find it in health food stores. Kristen, I can't join but I'm thrilled you all have the 300 club thing going. I think we tend to get hung up on size and the fact is they're beautiful at any size. I read an article recently where this guy was saying that he hates it when women wear he said he likes em in any size but didn't appreciate false advertising. For some reason we always think men like em big but I think they just like something to grab. :-)Kristinka, Letting everybody else do the work was so nice while it lasted. Liberating, unfortunately I had no problem getting back into control mode, darn it! Julie
-
The new pic is my initial step toward getting a Facebook page.....I need to stalk my children....lol....and hopefully find some old friends.....just hope to continue to hide from a couple of old beaus.....
Lilah - forgot to say it's good to see you around again! And sometimes being a couch potato is exactly what you need to do....
