    Mom 3 Band (((((((BIG HUG))))))

I had a BMX I don't regret a thing, I did not want too but I was IDC grade 3. You gotta hit this thing hard and know that your breast do not define who you are. Take it slow after the surgery, mine went so well.

The tightness goes a way, well, mine did Dec 09 (was the date of my surgery) I'm off for a walk, let me know how I can help, baby steps and one day at a time. CS

    Mom3,

You are in my prayers today.

I am now 25 days from my BMX and feeling good. You can do it!

You are fighting this menace and you will win.

Please tell us how you are doing when you can.

I thought of you this morning when I woke up and said a prayer that your surgery would go smoothly.  Hopefully when you read this the worst is over and you have crossed over to the other side.  We are here when you need to talk.  Hang in there.  The rainbow is in reach and you have put the fear behind you.  God bless-

I hope that when you read this you feel the relief that I did. Be good to yourself -- let others help and love you. I had a DMX on 9/18/09 and am finishing up my reconstruction now, just had a week at the beach where BC wasn't the first and only thing on my mind. You'll get there and we will all be holding you in our hearts. Maggie.

    Hi, everyone!!!

I have to go to the hospital tomorrow (surgery Tuesday) because my EKG came back abnormal.  They told me this Friday afternoon .... not a whole lot of time to see someone before Tuesday!  I am praying that tomorrow brings good news and that I do not have to postpone this mx.....my nerves are completely shot this weekend --- waiting, waiting, and more waiting until Monday's doc visit.

K - I am so happy to know you are home and resting!!!  God bless you ... and all of us on this rocky path we are traveling together!!!

    Hugs to all,

    J.

    Dear K,

I'm so glad you are home and the worst is behind you.  The absolute best thing you can do for yourself now is rest and let your body heal.  d

k -- so glad you're home and resting! I really believe in the power of good thoughts and prayers even from afar and even from people you haven't met. Let others help you. One thing that someone may have mentioned was that my husband left plates, cups, etc., within reach so I didn't have to lift my arms. He also left a cooler of food for the day since I couldn't open our heavy fridge door.

Be good to yourself. Do what you need to do when you need to do it.

    Maggie

Hooray, welcome home.  I'm a week later than you, and feeling great, so look forward to a week from today:  ate a big lunch, went for a little walk, slept well, only took a couple tylenol, took a long shower...you'll be there in 7 days or sooner!

Hope you are feeling better.  It is always good to have this part over with...well not good, but at least you don't have to worry about the surgery anymore.  Will keep you in my prayers for a speedy recovery!
