A very rich, moist, heavy bread pudding, preferably with fruit inside (like blueberries) and definitely with a creamy vanilla custard sauce on top...
Anyone have a recipe for such a creation? I've had bread pudding like this 3 or 4 times at little back-woods restaurants while traveling; but I've never found a recipe that produces a bread pudding with the moist texture and flavor I want. PM with suggestions, please!

Sorry I can;t pick one ..........chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and a big dolop of whipped cream, and a glass of milk, and eating it with my 3 year old grandaugher makes it taste better haha.

Ok I can't pick 2.........Make your own sundae with vanilla ice cream home make chocolate ganache topping, strawberries, whipped cream with cherry on top.

I know it's too late to help your daughter... but this thread made me smile (and drool). Too many to choose from, but...
I guess my hand's down favorite would have to be German chocolate cake, made from scratch, with GERMAN chocolate (devil's food cake with pecan-coconut icing is NOT German chocolate cake, can you tell I'm a snob about this?)
(not that I don't like devil's food cake, but dark chocolate just isn't right for German chocolate cake!). My mom used to make me one for my birthday every year until it got too hard for her to bake. Now that I can taste again I may have to make one.... Everybody bring your favorite dessert to my house and we'll have a dessert bar!
