Did anyone loose their hair on weekly taxol I had 8 treatments and out of the blue it's coming out. It's coming out very slowly so I am not sure if this is post pregnancy lost or I am going bald but I suspect I am going bald b-c the rest of my body has no hair and has stopped growing.

I am so upset as I was 4 tx away from ending and had about an inch of hair and it grew in blond!!(whoo hoo)

My eyelashes/eyebrows all fell out right at the end, but I definitely started getting head regrowth while on Taxotere.

Just remember, in 4 more weeks it will grow back for real! And, blonde, that is cool.

I have had 5 out of 12 Taxols and my fuzz is still sticking in there. I did ask the nurse and she said it may thing out but it probably wouldn't all fall out again.

Mine started shedding 2 weeks into the taxol.  By the end of 3 weeks it was very, very thin so we shaved it and I haven't had hair since.  That yours has lasted this long is a good sign.  Maybe it'll just thin but you'll be able to have something!!  I know this must be very disappointing but it won't be long before you're done and won't have to deal with it anymore.

My hair on my head only grew during Taxol, but I did lose my eyelashes and eyebrows on Taxol.  Then 4 weeks PFC my eyebrows and lashes came back.  My eyebrows were really growing in thick - had them shaped and waxed twice.  Now they've stopped growing again and thinned a little, but it doesn't appear that they will completely fall out (and I'm 3 months PFC).  Taxol does strange things to our bodies......

It will get better - before you know it you'll be sporting a short sexy style for the summer Laughing

my hair was funky during Taxol.

The most awful thing.. i had to go on chemo again and it was Taxol.  I buzzed my hair, but it didn't all fall out.. just some.  What a stupid thing to do.. i should have kept it merely short.

Unless something happens to me in the next 3 weeks or so, I am not going to lose my remaining hair on Taxol.  The stuff started growing at the end of AC, but the undergrowth stalled.  The dark hairs on top are actually growing slowly.

I suspect that it all will even up at some point.  Not too worried.  Would love to have some eyelashes and odd to be filling in as opposed to shaping/trimming brows.

The biggest adjustment was realizing that my long, lush trademark black hair was history, and to cut it into a nice bob prior to chemo.  The rest has been relatively minor.

But it was time for a major re-invention anyway.

(Poor Main Squeeze.  I teased him about the days when he complained about my long hair "getting in the way of things".  He is just fine with my having very little hair, which does make a big difference in how I feel about things.)

Pure: just anticipate your gorgeous blonde hair.  Sounds great, and maybe you can rock a short, sassy blonde look.

I am taking the philosophical view that this is the opportunity to rock a variety of looks that I never dared to wear when I was younger.

    My husband, too!

Pure - The hair that didn't fall out during AC seems to be falling out now (can tell b/c it's darker and longer), but the new stuff that grew in blonde seems to be sticking around and is starting to turn brown.  My eyebrows and eyelashes fell out about 4 weeks into taxol, but the eyebrows are starting to grow back now, too.  So maybe what you're seeing is older stuff and the new growth will stay?  We're almost there!

I lost the hair on the top of my head and the rest thinned (think male-pattern baldness) while on dose dense A/C. Then while on DD taxol the rest of my hair feel out, as did my eyebrows and eyelashes.

It will come back. Took a long time for mine, and hard to believe sometimes, but it will come back.

I don't think mine thought it was sexy but I remember once after sex him saying, "hmmm, I never did it with a blonde chick." lol.  He also told me how beautiful I was even bald.  I loved that he lied to me when I  needed it most.

I hate to whine=hate it-when there are beauitful 10 year old children who go through chemo and loose their hair and have great fighting spirts. I have no right to complain. Anywhoo-it is what it is but thanks for all your positive support:)
