If you are looking for skin care advice during radiation please feel free to ask me (I am a nurse practitioner).  There is also info on www.epicureskincare.com.  My best friend used Epicure during her radiation and had zero irritation.  It was interesting to see some spots she couldn't reach with the cream and it got super, super red and irritated.  So, it works.  I have to disclose that I am one of the creators of the cream, so I am biased.  We just released it and are trying to spread the word because we truly believe it can help cancer patients (hers was breast but it's also helped other types as well).  Anyway, I am happy to answer any questions you may have about skin in general with radiation.  I have done tons of research in the area when we were trying different formulations.

I am soooo happy to see these nurses during research in this area!  I applaud it.  It is unfortunately so common for us in medicine to do things "just because we've always done it that way".  I admit I have done it myself.  This is great info.
