any animal running around with distemper is scary, hope the city takes care of the problem. I always love posts from you sierra.
Deb, is that a maple tree draining syrup? I have been thinking a lot about honey today, I love the taste, texture, and the color is glorious.
It is amazing to me that little critters make this wonderful stuff

Yup, that's maple sap, With a ratio of about 40:1, it would take this large barrel full of sap to make two smaller jugs of syrup.

The back part of our property is covered with honeysuckle and with the breezes blowing the whole area smells so sweet, can't wait for it to bloom

Our whole church is going camping memorial day weekend, can you imagine a circle of 30 tents set up, all the food, campfires, fellowship. Probably at Chickasaw National Park
these are a few pictures of the park, the campgrounds is so shady and cool with streams for swimming almost everywhere.

I'm stopping in to say hello. Have never been on this thread before, but Spar is here so I think I'll be showing up or if not lurking around a bit. Just wanted you all to know it. I'm on another blog and while they don't get upset about people "lurking" there, they feel like you may be shy and not ask for the help they would lovingly and willingly give.
I'm not shy, but beginning now and then to have some time constraints......so this is just to let anyone here know I AM here but just may not say much. I have brought a friend with me today.
Have a really wonderful day.
Jackie
P.S. Hi to Chee-Chee and all the pictures are quite beautiful.
-
I want that kitty. (^..^)
Not too often do you see 2 different color eyes.
I live in New England and we are underwater. I lucked out, I don't have a basement. But I did have a leaky bay window.
Spar, R U going camping??
