Jane,
I am always wondering the same thing. Must be many of us. Let's see if we can find some more and then we can arrange a meeting. I live in Ardsley. Close enough.

Francine

Hi Francine,
I would love to arrange a meeting... Right now I am still figuring out adjuvant treatments.... Another onco tomorrow for a second opinion. First one had a bias towards chemo because of my age, tumor grade and onco score being in te gray area... I'm a little frazzled at the moment and know I need to come to terms with wnatever I will do soon. My surgery was Feb 10 and the Englewood onco said I am medcally ready to start the chemo.
Francine/KAthy, I am being treated at Englewood in NJ, probably too far for you. My second opinion is tomorow at Memorial will be interesting to hear another opinion..
I am off to work for now!! Have a great day, Barbara

Hi Ladies,
Francine - I had my surgery at N. Westchester. Dr. Cahan is my surgeon. I had my chemo at Dr. Mittelman's in Purchase and radiation is at The Dickstein Cancer Center in WP with Dr. Randy Stevens. Is that WP hospital? I'm not sure but I think they are one and the same. What's an exchange?
Have a nice day.

Hi Kathy,
I had my surgery at White Plains hospital by Dr. Sahgal. (Her office is at Dickstein) I went to Dr. Sadan for chemo. I go to meetings at Gilda's club and met ladies who used him. I also met his nurse Cindy. No radiation here. BTW I had my exchange surgery today. My PS's are dr's Beran and Greenwald also at White Plains. I do believe that all of my doctors have offices at Northern Westchester too. Maybe we could meet someday for lunch and talk.
Hugs,
Francine

Sounds good, Francine. What goes on at Gilda's Club? I don't know what exchange surgery is, but I hope you're feeling well.

Hi kathy,
Thks for the good wishes.
I had a mastectomy so in order to get a new breast they put a tissue expander in your chest and once it is filled to it's right amount they take it out and replace it with a real implant. That is the exchange.
Gilda's Club is a real nice place..beautiful facility. Many activities to choose from. I only go to a once a month BC discussion group as well as a book club. The BC support group is made up of many upbeat women. It costs nothing to join ...
Hugs,
Francine
