Evening Prayer

My daily wish is that we may
See good in those who pass our way;

Find in each a worthy trait
That we shall gladly cultivate;

See in each one passing by
The better things that beautify

A softly spoken word of cheer,
A kindly face, a smile sincere.

I pray each day that we may view
The things that warm one's heart anew;

The kindly deed that can't be bought
That only from good are wrought,

A burden lightened here and there,
A brother lifted from despair,

The aged ones freed from distress;
The lame, the sick, brought happiness.

Grant that before each sun has set
We'll witness deeds we can't forget;

A soothing hand to one in pain,
A sacrifice for love - not gain;

A word to ease the troubled mind
Of one whom fate has dealt unkind.

So, friend, my wish is that we may
See good in all who pass our way.

A Prayer for all our Dearly Departed Breast Cancer Sisters, who fought the good fight until they could fight no more, all over the world:

Death has freed them from the material bondage. They have shed their frail earthly clay and departed this life to live hereafter in the realm of the spirit. Their earthly work is done and they have laid down the burden that pressed heavily on them. From the din and dust and storm of life's struggle they have gone to the deathless world of peace and rest where light fades not and happiness fails not. Our beloved have died in body to live in spirit a life higher and nobler than our thoughts can measure and minds can conceive. They rest in everlasting peace and joy with thee.Amen

We are thankful for those who have passed into your Kingdom where there is rejoicing, no more pain or sickness. Yes, we miss them, Lord, but we have been so much richer knowing them even in their discomfort because they were reflections of your love.

I Asked God

I asked God to take away my pain.

I offer prayers to Almighty God for the many newbies on our website . I pray ever thing goes well for them. I pray the number gets less and less as each day goes by . The sisters who are going through treatment may they find peace,strength and comfort in God . Sisters who have a recurrence, God help them find hope and peace of mind . The sisters who are finished treatment ,help them to overcome the fear of recurrence, give them courage to forge ahead and live their life in Christ.I pray for our dearly departed sisters whose life on earth is over and now live with God.I most humbly ask to help the doctors to finally find a cure for this beast , I ask in the name of Jesus Christ or Lord .Amen

I would like to also pray for the husbands , boyfriends , fathers , wives , mothers , girlfriends and all the men and women of the military who have choosen the career in life to defend our Countries. May they all come back to us in health and peace of mind . I pray their stay overseas will be short lived defeating the evil that excess in this world .

My heart and prayers go out to every individual who has had to endure the pain and suffering caused by this tragedy.We will be reaching out to others to join us in helping to bring relief and hope to these resilient people who have lost everything.

Loving God, Creator of all, maker and redeemer of history,

Father, we pray for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. It is Your will for us to pray for those who are suffering. The Gulf States has been devastated, families have been separated and some even destroyed. Lord, there is so much despair and heartache. We are unable to comprehend this horrific disaster, but we pray because You want us to weep with those who weep. Father, have mercy upon the people and affected cities of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. Lord, it is Your desire that all of humankind call on Your name and worship You. You do not want any person to live without You. Like a mother hen, You desire to protect and care for Your creation, therefore, we expect relief for the persons who are in need. Lord, we believe that You will regard and not despise the prayers of the destitute.Amen

Dear Lord God, my heavenly Father, I beg you to grant me the gift of hope. My life is dark and full of sorrow. There seems nothing to look forward to but sadness.
Show me that life has duties and many pleasures still waiting for me. Revive within me the desire to live.
Plant hope in my heart, that despair may vanish as the dew before the sun. I know all good things come from you, and you have promised to give them to your children who try to serve you.

Show each of us our role in giving to this effort. Comfort the hearts of men, women, boys, and girls, who have lost loved ones, especially the children. Father, cause Your peace to settle into the hearts of parents who lost their children to the hurricane. Stem the spread of disease and protect the innocent from looters and criminal activity. Comfort persons who are in shelters and protect them. Please provide food, clothing, shelter and employment for them. Let Your everlasting love be felt overwhelmingly towards them.
