You Can Do MAGIC
Hey Deb, I have been meaning to tell you that I'm obsessed with Jeff Healey. I had my husband listen to some of his stuff. He had never heard of him. He died so young. Mu hubby is a great guitar player and he said "how did Jeff Healey get by me?" lol.
Good night all

Strange Magic
'Night Patty, here's one for tomorrow morning:
-
Jeff Healey was very, very talented. We were blessed with his music regularly on our classic rock stations here in Canada. He sure could play guitar. BTW, I love that song Hocus Pocus by Focus that was posted earlier!
ELO
That Smell
-
Hey Sugar, you probably don't remember the Archies TV show but here's a song for you:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2bGQogovfA
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Love Potion Number Nine
-
Groundhog, I remember them well. In fact, I had an Archies lunch pail and thermos when I was a kid! We must be close in age.
The Clovers
Shaboom
-
Excellent! If you still had it, I wonder what it would be worth today (Antiques Roadshow fan).
The Crew Cuts (had to look it up!)
Daydream Believer
-
I don't have it anymore but I do watch the show. My sister and I joke about all the stuff from our mom's house that we'll line up with when/if the roadshow ever comes to town. The Archies video clip was funny. Sugar was my dad's lifelong nickname and he died at 77 years old so my username is a tribute to him.
The Monkeys
The Temples of Syrinx (not sure if this song is know much in the US)
-
nope, didn't recognize that as a song from
Rush
Plush
-
Do you guys know all these or are you googling them to find the answers?
-
Hi Faith, I had to look up two tonight but I 'fessed up to those.
-
I knew these. I watched the Monkeys after school as a kid and Temples of Syrinx was my favourite Rush song back in the '70s. As Rush is a Canadian band (but with US exposure), I wasn't sure if you would have heard of this song as it was an old, more obscure one...but a great tune!!
-
Yeah, once I heard Geddy Lee's voice, I knew it was Rush!
The 'morning song link I posted last night is One Fine Morning by Lighthouse, also a Canadian band. :-)
Temples of Syrinx

Stone Temple Pilots were around in the 80's?

I loved One Fine Morning, how fun
Joni Mithcell
Angle of the Morning
Here's one for you Deb, I'm thinking spring!!!
-
I don't fess up when I have to google. My brain is so fried from the 70's and chemo so I don't trust myself.
Good Morning all!!!!

-
That was hilarious!!!! The laughing at the end, priceless! I'm exhausted now and will need a nap, lmao. Thanks
-
I think I should pull Undercover Angel out of the game...it just popped into my head after Angel of the Morning....but that was a one-hit wonder named Alan o'day. I had the 45....but no one would ever really know who did it. So, in the interest of a fun game, here's my new question:
Close to You
