Hi Girls

Well I am back.

I started going to my naturopath in Nov roughly I was half way through my chemo DD AC x4 DD T x 4.

He started a supplement program for me ,but, my Oncs nixed it so I stopped .

My last Chemo was Dec 7th and finished 25 rounds of rads in early Feb , so it was back to the NPath.

This is what I am taking daily

Vit D 5000.i.u.x2

methylcobalamin x1

EGCG ( high dose green tea extract)x6

OsteoPrime PLUS x4

C+Bioflavonoidsx9

Melatonin 6mg but wants me to build up to more, perhaps as much as 12mg. depending what I can handle.

And I started Arimidex before rads...just starting to get joint discomfort(mornings).

I have to say I have a really weird taste and dry mouth that has started and of course my pills are divided up Breakfast, Lunch,Dinner and bedtime..

Comments appreciated , anyone else on this or similar combo .

much love

Cheryl

    Hello Cheryl,

I was diagnosed with breast cancer while living in Italy where I moved to from England.

Here they believe that all the nutriment our body needs should come from the food we eat everyday.Taking great deal of supplements can make our body work hurder and often we don't even need it.One example is the vitamin c, our body can not store it and anything extra is expelled.

    Best wishes

I  think but not sure that the supplements with C I am taking have other things in it for absorption... I am seeing a a Naturopath he has his Phd. in botany so I trust what he has prescribed. He came highly recommended.

I always ate healthy before all this came about and still here I am...I am just not leaving any stone unturned in my fight.

    much love C

Always more..never heard of methylcobalimin. But I see a few related abstracts in pubmed. Research I have seen suggests melatonin at 20mg for cancer patients. Liposomal formulations seem to strongly increase absorption of any supplement available. Bioperine as well. There is a green tea w/capsaicin called Capsibiol-T that studies show increases effect. Might want to limit the capsibiol-T form to 2 caspules a day absed on a conversation with a researcher. Additional generic green tea doesn't seem to be a problem.

Even a primary care doc shoudl be able to get you  an OH25 test for D levels. You might need industrial strength/prescription based Vit D.

Getting serum ascorbic acid/Vitamin C up to very high dose may kill cancer even if not stored. See HERE
