DD called before she is working from home today.
Was complaining that everybody upset because it got to chilly. Only 70s lol
-
Oh my, 70 degrees. I hope she has a winter jacket!
-
Even the dog was cold. At least the dog is Hawaiian native. These 2 are from NY being there for only 15 months. Was your son complaining?
-
I haven't had the chance to talk to him. He was in Doctor appointments yesterday and today, then flying home tonight.
-
Or at least that was the plan last time I talked to him.
-
When DH and I went to visit "the kids" we rented a convertable so we would have our freedom. I remember driving home from Waikiki one night in the rain with the top down. Remember I am cold-a-phobic, so you know it had to be nice weather.
-
Home Meaning California?
-
No, his home in Okinawa. (If you were talking about DS returning home tonight)
And the roads were flooded. (If you were talking about DH and I driving home from Waikiki)

-
You are funny.
Thats a good thing right going back home to Okinawa?
Am I asking too many questions. Please stop me if I am.
-
Nope, that's fine. Since he is stationed at Okinawa and has no other home, that's where he'll go. If they discharge him, then he will have some time there to wrap things up and figure out what he is going to do, and where he is going to go. He has been out of our home for 4 1/2 years, and I have moved twice since, so he will have to re-establish where ever he goes.
-
Good Luck whatever the future holds for him.
-
-
Thank you.

Beautiful!
-
I have an awful time growing petunias. Even after dead heading constantly, I have alot of luck with impatients.

-
Seyla and Meece beautiful pictures thank you. I'm still praying for everyone!
Meece your story reminds me of my husband and I renting a jeep in Maui and it rained almost every day! LOL!! We were young back then and it was kinda fun getting wet and then drying out in the sun afterward.
-
You're Welcome kcl. One day I will learn how to post real pictures, I meant the ones I took them with my own camera. not from goggling.
Everything was exciting when we were younger.
I used to grow inpatients. One year I mixed white and red. Another year was purple and pink.
And one year it was salmon color. They grow so beautiful as long as they are not under direct sun.
Good Night.

This was a little bird that made a nest outside my front door last spring.
-

-
Seyla - enjoy your trip. I really LOVE the Big Island!!!
KCI65 - I just had my 3rd AC yesterday. One more left on March 24 and then I start Herceptin and Taxol.
deborye - I love impatients as they are beautiful and very forgiving. In Okinawa, they grow in the cracks of the cement!

Begonias in a basket on my upstairs balcony! Thank you to my hubby!
A new song that is one of my very favorites:
Bow the Knee - Ron Hamilton
What a privilege to come into God's presence, just to linger with the one who set me free.
As I lift my eyes and see His awesome glory, I remember who He is and bow the knee.
Bow the knee, bow the knee, He is king of all the ages, bow the knee!
God alone on His throne, see Him high and lifted up and bow the knee!
Kneel before Him, all adore Him. As you live to love Him more, bow the knee.
In His hand He holds the power of creation. With His voice He spoke and all things came to be.Yet He hears each simple prayer I bring before Him when I humbly seek His face and bow the knee.
Bow the knee, bow the knee, He is king of all the ages, bow the knee!
God alone on His throne, see Him high and lifted up and bow the knee!
Kneel before Him, all adore Him. As you live to love Him more, bow the knee.
Bow the knee, bow the knee, He is king of all the ages, bow the knee!
God alone on His throne, see Him high and lifted up and bow the knee.

That is beautiful. It sounds like a hymn instead of some of the worship/praise songs of recent years that try to appeal to the rock and roll crowd. Don't get me wrong, I like praise songs, but there is something about a hymn,
-
Because He Lives
1. God sent His Son - they called Him Jesus,
He came to love, heal and forgive;
He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives.Chorus:
Because He lives I can face tomorrow,
Because He lives all fear is gone;
Because I know He holds the future
And life is worth the living just because He lives.2. How sweet to hold a newborn baby
And feel the pride and joy he gives;
But greater still the calm assurance:
This child can face uncertain days because Christ lives.(Chorus)
3. And then one day I'll cross the river,
I'll fight life's final war with pain;
And then, as death gives way to victory,
I'll see the lights of glory - and I'll know He lives.
(Chorus)I just got off the phone with my son. He arrive back in Okinawa Tuesday(?) and got called in to work yesterday. He was at his desk job stood up and something happened to his ankle. Long story, but after an evening in the ER it doesn't look good. Please lift him in prayer. They really thought they were going to be able to do something for him after his review in Oahu. I still believe a miracle could occur, and there have been no tests at the ER. My erquest would be that what he thinks happened to his ankle...didn't, and the tx planned out in Oahu will work. Not mine, by Thy will be done, Oh Lord. Thank you.
