Congratulations that's great.  I'm past my first year mark now.  I am so excited about spring and summer getting here this year.  No chemo or radiation to keep me from spring and summer fun.  It's great to be alive and feeling good.

Hugs and a great spring to all of you!

    Congratulations Gorilla!......

Noni, you are so right about ER+....Congratulations on 23 years!......Unfortunately for us who are ER+, our risk for recurrence does go up after 5 years....I am currently over 3 yrs NED and worry about the years after my 5th anniversary than i do the present years.....I am so so happy to hear when a TN sister is so many years out......

I have a special request if I may....My DH's cousin has been dx with TN stage 4 bc....It has spread everywhere....Liver, bones, brain, lungs, you name it....We know her time is short but I would appreciate if any of you would pray for her comfort and for her family....They are all very close and this is just so hard on them...I really aprreciate it...Thank you all.....

Hollyann how very sweet of you, but come on look at your prognosis, girl.looks pretty dam good to me. Hey 200,000. women a year are diagnosed with breast cancer . A great persentage of those women go on to live long lives. That is alot of women. I'm 64 years old in June, I was 39 when diagnosed, I have met alot of women with breast cancer most of which were ER+, there all still around. Thanks for coming here to support us. You are such a kind soul and I will certainly keep your DH cousin in prayer. If you don't mind telling me her name, there are alot of prayers being offered in the Catholic spiritual thread and many wonderful women who would be glad to pray for her.

    Titan, I LOVE YOU TOO,

    Hello,

I was diagnosed in Dec 03, 50 yrs, atypical medullary, they treated it as an invasive ductal breast cancer, 2.8cm, triple negative, no nodes involved out of 28, no vascular invasion, clean margins, lumpectomy, 4xac then 4x taxol every three weeks, then 33 rads. I am alittle over six years out this month !! My birthday was on Nov 22,09 and I had never been happier to turn 56!! Its been a roller coaster ride for me, but I am here and doing great. Hang in there! I don't post much, but this board was a life saver to me when I was diagnosed in 03, I felt scared and alone. Everyone offered so much support to me. So far I am doing great, everyday is a gift.

    Hugs,

    Patty
