AAAHHH nice and relaxing with the warm sun.
I am on a yearly basis now also for my mams. I only got 1 MRI on the breasts. It has been a year since my last MRI on my pancreas. One more MRI in May on pancreas and if the cyst is still gone, no more MRI's I'm done.

The plane is ready to take off. First we fly to MA and PA to pick up Sandy. We are all set to go.

A house on Lake Winnipesaukee NH. Beautiful garden.
-
I go up to Squam Lake every summer, it's on top of Lake Winn.
Did you have mams and MRI every 6 months after your surgery? For how long? Anybody.....Bueller??
-
And by Thursday we come to that peaceful house in NH, spend few days, until we find another place to visit.
Deb Forgive me asking the same question again but did you have a Lumpectomy ?
I only get yearly mammograms which is in June.
-
Yup, I had surgical biopsy with wide excision 2X's to get clearer margins. I had mammo every 6 months until last June. My next mam is June 11th that will be a whole year.
I love Squam Lake. About 6 years ago we spent 4 days in a cottage on Lake Winnesquam, it was the cutest place.
-
Years ago we had a trailer with a large cabana room just walking distance from Lake Winnipesaukee just a few miles from The Weirs. We spent every vacation and weekend there from the time my DD was 8 until she was 15.

Most women might feel good about seing the Oncologist once a year.
Im nervous until now it was every 4 months. I believe will be once a year after the next one.
I will ask him if he can see me every 6 months all he can say is NO.
-
My oncologist wants to see me every 4 months until I am done with Arimidex.
-
No harm in asking. Thanks for sharing your experiences with me.
I LOVE Squam Lake. We spend a couple weeks there every year. My DH grew up summering on Squam. We have a boat and bring the kids waterskiing everyday. It's a ot of fun. We go to Winn too, that's where the entertainment is!
-
When did you start taking Arimidex?.
Because I had chemo it took 1 year until i was put on Femara which will be 4 years in March.
-

I had a stupid, lazy day. I watched DR OZ.
It was about emotional eating and VD.
This woman has gained 100 pounds in one year .........
Her VD level was 30. And DR OZ said the more fat you have in your body the more D is absorbed by the fat and doesn't go where it suppose to go. Darn FAT
I never understood about being heavy and relation to BC (which is not the case all the time) but cancer cells get also nourished by the fat.
I didn't know any of these before. Did you?
DR Sheila has spoken.
-
Thank you Dr. Sheila. I did not kow that!
I wish I saw the parton VD.
Talk to you on Wednesday Sandy!!
Cooking dinner, must be brief!
-
Correction on VD. It says a completely opposite on the web.
-
Not sure what you mean about the correction on the VD. What is completely opposite on the web??
-
It says VD is fat soluable (sp)
What does that mean?
-
It means it is stored in your fat. Most vitamins are not fat soluable so if you took to much of them, you would pee them out. This does not happen with VD.
-
So was I right with my first post?
I am
-
Sure!!...I have no idea. I don't believe that just because someone is fat, they have a high VD level. Compared to this time last year I am fat and my VD level is low!!
-
Are you getting the wet weather tomorrow? or its just for us here?
