Max Gerson, MD's Anti Cancer Program
Just recently, I've watched two documentaries on Max Gerson. M.D. "The Beautiful Truth" and "Dying to Have Known."
Very similar to the Budwig Protocol. Meaning, "Just Eat Healthy Food." And not only will you not get cancer, you'll feel great. Or as Michael Pollan says, "Eat Food. Not too much. Mostly Plants."
On the Budwig FOCC I feel GREAT. AND eating real food. Not too much, mostly plants.
People have to decide, for themselves.
I have chosen to reject the Medical Industrial Complex. With their insistence on forcing drugs and radiation and chemotherapy on me. I'm not going to do it.
We are what we eat.
And I am going to eat well, and thrive.

I met and had the opportunity to hear Charlotte Gerson speak at a conference last year. She is in her 80's, claims to have never been prescribed any type of drug, is sharp as a tack and radical in her belief that dairy, processed foods like white flour, white sugar and chemicals such as flouride and cholrine that are added to our drinking water are making us ill and killing us.
As you probably know the push to eat organic fruits and vegetables was started by her father the late Max Gerson back in the 40's and she still holds true to those beliefs. The diet they prescribe would be difficult to maintain unless you were a patient in their clinics, some of their therapies such as coffee enemas require further investigation and people try to promote them as quacks, but there is no doubt that Max Gerson was a true pioneer in whole body therapy and making the connection that food is medicine.
"Therefore, the treatment also has to penetrate deeply to correct all the vital processes. When the general metabolism is corrected, we can influence again retrospective functioning of all other organs, tissues, and cells through it. This means that there should be a treatment applied which will fulfill the task of totality in every respect, taking care of the functions of the whole body in all its different parts, thus restoring the harmony of all biological systems." I think a good diet, mostly plant based and not alot, is a fabulous tool in our arsenal against cancer or recurrences. But to say, "Eat this and you won't get cancer" is very misleading. There are many people who have eaten this was all their lives and they DID get cancer.
Cancer is far more complex than just our diet, as I'm sure you all will agree. But diet is a good foundation for the rest of the building blocks of health.
