enlarged lymph nodes in chest

having had breast angiosarcoma, mastectomy in oct, and 5 cycles of chemo, i find through a ct scan, i have 3 enlarged lymph nodes in chest, that were not there in oct. pet scan.. 1cm and less.. dr said not pathological. going for pet scan. has anyone had this problem. if so what was the outcome

    Hi survivor,

    I had an enlarged internal mammary (IM) lymph node light up on a pet scan that went away - they don't know if it was cancer, or possibly just enlarged from some inflammatory process from surgery or even a cold or sinus infection or something.  I also had lung nodules show up, and those too disappeared.  

    Hopefully yours will turn out to be inconsequential too, especially since the doctor feels it isn't pathologic.  I do know how scary and stressful it is though, so hang in there!
