Why rads to my collarbone/nodes ?

I was originally Stage 1 & had a bmx and negative sentinal nodes.  

Just found a local recur - surgeon got clean margins on the 2nd excision.   Had my ovaries removed 2 weeks ago, since it was ER+ again.

I just feel like rads to all of my nodes (armpit and clavicle careas) is extreme.  Is this normal protocol ?

I'm starting in a couple of days & I'm starting to freak out about all of the nasty possible side effects that can occur later on.

    The usual drainage pattern of breast lymph nodes goes to the armpit then into the collarbone area. The goal is to sterilize the areas and kill off any remaining cancer cells.
