~ Useful Links ~

Options

I often read that people are looking for a thread where useful links are posted so I thought I would get one started. Please post any links that you think will be beneficial and in keeping with the purpose and objective of this forum.

Here is my first contribution:

I was looking for a new omega 3 supplement that did not contain soy, was GMO free, RX grade and organic which lead me to the site.

http://www.weknowomegas.com/

"Here at WeKnowOmegas.com we sift through thousands of products and programs for you, offering our informative reviews on the benefits, negatives, costs, ingredients, testimonials and customer service issues you need to know. We aren't selling anything - we'll just educate you about what's hot in the marketplace, what seems to be effective, what the current customers for those products have to say, and in some cases what you may need to beware of to protect yourself."

edited to say: upon further review of this site I determined that they are somehow connected with selling the products however, the listing of different omega brands is quite useful.

Mega-List for Turmeric and Curcumin. They also sell Curcumin but I could not locate a company name and decided against purchasing from them but one of you might have a different experience.

FLOW - For Love Of  Water

Irena Salina's award-winning documentary investigation into what experts label the most important political and environmental issue of the 21st Century - The World Water Crisis.

Salina builds a case against the growing privatization of the world's dwindling fresh water supply with an unflinching focus on politics, pollution, human rights, and the emergence of a domineering world water cartel.

Interviews with scientists and activists intelligently reveal the rapidly building crisis, at both the global and human scale, and the film introduces many of the governmental and corporate culprits behind the water grab, while begging the question "CAN ANYONE REALLY OWN WATER?"

Beyond identifying the problem, FLOW also gives viewers a look at the people and institutions providing practical solutions to the water crisis and those developing new technologies, which are fast becoming blueprints for a successful global and economic turnaround.

Here is a link to an amazing food delivery service named "Farm Fresh To You" which delivers organic fruits and vegetables right to your doorstep! The farm is located in Capay, California just north of Sacramento but they deliver as far south as Santa Monica.

You simply go to the site, enter your zip code to determine if you are in their service area and use the drop down menu to order your products. I was told that they can customize the boxes by adding or omitting more or less of certain items and that the majority of their products are locally grown.

If anyone is interested here is the promo code 6164 for $5.00 off your first order. They also offer bonuses for referrals and recipes. My i.d # is111334 if anyone would like to add me :)

"Contact us for classroom and organization fundraisers which help your school eat healthy and raise money while promoting our service. We also encourage you to spread the word with friends and coworkers. Contact us for brochures or other promotional ideas or sign up a friend for our service and receive your next delivery free.'
