Prayers from me too for quarter405.

scan not so good. 2 very small lesions showed up. The original one didn't shrink at all.
-
Quarter405 I'm sorry your scan results were not too good. I hope you soon have a treatment plan in place to zap those lesions. You will be in my thoughts.
-
Thanks Jayee

Quarter, Praying for you and Hope all goes well for you today. Have not posted in awhile. Life is being good. Recovering from reconstruction has been easy. Ended up with a ear infection becasue of the surgrey lowered my resistance. Hope everyone is good Hugs Dianne
-
Quarter I'm thinking of you today and hoping all goes well. Sending positive vibes your way.
Dianne It's great that you are recovering well from reconstruction. I'll have to wait until towards the end of the year to have mine, but first I need to decide what type to have, decisions, decisions!
-
So glad I'm not alone with the hair dye. I felt so vain, but my hair color really was the color of a squirrel.
-
Quarter-sending you nothing by positive vibes. Zap that thing and get rid of it. Let us know what they plan to do and when so we can up the prayers for you.
-
Hi Quarter i hope you post soon. i am sending prayers your way, any body having ache symptoms. my hands go tingle and numb i have been to the doc and they say might be nerve damage from the type of chemo i had. is anyone going to the conference this month in Atlanta? PM me please, I would love to get together with other Triple J's while there!
-
Hi gang.
I hope everybody is doing ok - quarter so sorry for the drama - doesn't it seem like its never ending!
I was wondering if anybody is having a reaction post chemo or during herceptin? My skin is so itchy its crawling. I thought it was chemo withdrawl but Ive been off chemo for a while now. Im using oils on my skin so I know its not a hydration thing. Im trying to drink more water but also wanted to ask the js if they are having a similar issue.
Hope you are all great!
-
PS73- No real reactions. I still have red, dry patches that are kind of scaly, but not itchy. They are slowly fading. I'm 5 weeks out from chemo.
Sorry to hear you are suffering with this...sounds like you are doing all the right things.
-
uugh, today is not as bad but its really irritating because I cant reach around my back exactly because of my surgery so I end up rubbing my back on the furniture like a damn cat ;p
-
ps73 - For about two months after chemo, I thought I had flea's...I was so itchy and even had little red 'bumps/bites' looking things that would pop up occasionally and in random places. No one else in my family had these issues and after treating the house and pets TWICE I finally realized that it must be me and a residual SE from chemo... I hope you experience some relief soon because I remember how frustrated I was.

Hello triple j's, Just a hello and to let everyone know what a wonderful thing life is after bc. I hope everyone is doing well. Quarter I have been praying for you. just a funny thought. I blowed dry what hair i have for the first time in 6 months. Felt great. It is short and gray and really thick. Some wave. I had curly hair before bc now just straight. Life is good and I hope all are gettting along with life. God is looking over all of us and you all are in our prayers. Hugs Dianne

stef-I must have received your curls by osmosis. Have never had a curl on my head in my life (except for the perming days-let's not discuss those times or look at those pictures shall we?) but I have itty bitty curls all over my head-at 55-and the hair is snow white. My mom is estatic about the curls, not so much about the color-I told her it was like that before chemo it just had some residual color left in it, but not anymore!
-
michelle - thanks for the info. yes, it must be chemo after shock. im so glad we didnt get the house exterminated - i thought about it though.
hehe - i too have straightish wavy hair which once housed thick curls. its about an inch as well so the whole process has been seven months from the start of chemo and losing the hair at day sixteen into it. it started growing back during mid taxol and now Im ten weeks post chemo.
-
Okay ladies- couple of quick questions.
Has anyone been tested for bone density post chemo.?
and Triglycerides?I am having issues with both and after researching I have found that both could be caused by either chemo., age, radiation or all three.
