THE 2ND TA TAS SISTERHOOD REUNION IN VEGAS!!
Comments

Well I feel we should always live life to the fullest...and if that means a few too many cocktails with my girlfriends....then that's what I'm gonna do! :-)
-
JAZ... see if the Viva Vegas tees come in a tank top. I have a small tee that Packer gave me.. and it shrank to a perfect fit... but I would have LOVED a tank top last year... since the weather was REALLY HOT in Sept...
Let us know the prices when she gets back with you K sis!
HOW IS CLAIR????????????????????????????????? has anyone heard from her??? She is on the list to come in 10' but she never pipes in here?????????????? ALSO... how is Quinn????

HAPPY V DAY SISTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got one of the tank tops last year....they DO NOT run small like the shirts so if you can get one keep that in mind, in fact mine seemed to run a little big.
I am soooo patiently waiting for the hotel info.....I cant wait!!!!
Teresa
-
So did you girls flaunt your ta-tas in skimpy t-shirts last year? That plus the cocktails and the girlfriend chats - no wonder husbands and BFs were not missed...! I'll keep my name on the list - will have to figure out what to do with my DH...
-
Kristinka - have your dh bring a friend with him and they can go off all weekend or leave your dh at home. I might have my dh drive me to Vegas and then he and his son could stay with his cousin all weekend (I would never see them) and drive me back on Monday, that or I will just fly again.
We wore our TaTa t-shirts to the Susan G. Komen function and then to the piano bar. This year we will miss the Susan G. Komen function but no way in heck are we going to miss the piano bar and I think we should wear our shirts there again and down to Freemont Street!!!!
For those gals that are putting it all together - thanks so much!!! Play the Cancer Card as much as possible!!!!! Bring on the tears if you need to!!!
-
Jancie -- "cancer card" -- shameless! (I love it

Hey Hey TA TA SISTA'S!!! I'm back & what a Wonderful trip down memory lane. We stayed at the Flamigo, was FAB!! Had a blonde moment-thought the flamigo's in the yard were the plastic stick in the grounds.....boy was I surprised to see that they were real-Good one Susie, hubby about lost it when I realized it!! LOL Got to see Fremont Street-missed out on that one with you all. Any Pawn Star Watcher's out there?? Checked it out & got to see Rick & the OLd Man, you all know me,couldn't pass up any chance of getting a photo-I was the only one who asked..The "Old Man" told me told me to come around behind the counter, after the photo I asked to give him a kiss-after I planted one on his cheek, he turned bright red & the customers laughed and he then did his famous hand over forehead-very sweet & cute-made my day!!! Ok- I could go on & on as you all know, but it was the best & I truely needed it!! Can't wait for our trip!!!
I don't recall if I mentioned this before I left-so repeat in case-I was warned that I would get another hernia, just didn't expect it so soon. Just after my Dr. appt. 2 weeks ago on Thursday-given a go ahead on lite excersises(but didn't even get the chance)that nite around midnite-notice some pain, thought it was the tummy wrap cutting into me-surprise..hernia above the public line...again....ARGGGGG. I called next day,but no call back-will check in today. I went on my trip anyway, as some of you know, I had a hernia on our trip and did just fine. Just have to find out if this is like the last one-one of the bad ones that strangles-WHEW...Still Dancing thru yet another Storm.
Jazzy & Deborah-sending out power prayers....Jazzy, you know how I can't say anything without music...."BRICK HOUSE" keeps coming to mind when I picture you!!! You ROCK!!
Ok- I better get before I use up the whole page.....Love you all Big hugs
Take care Chow XOXO Susie

I know a good portion of the "sisterhood" use facebook....controlling your privacy on Facebook is a lot harder than people think, and often folks are suprised how much information can be shared without their knowing which opens up your risk to things like identity theft.

Thank you, thank you Packer girl. I try to keep my stuff there as private a possible but every time they change the format some of the setting also change.
Have a great week.
Gisella
-
Thanks Packer.. I was just thinking to myself... I wish Packer was on facebook.... You need to get one and keep yourself private... GREAT Place for us all to keep in touch!
-
Just out of curiosity I thought I would look up hotel prices for our trip. One of the sites I use gave me quotes for group prices....most of the hotels were sold out for that weekend, but one that was available and cheap was Hooters. LOL $78 a night! Now wouldn't that be a Hoot if the TaTas stayed there! LOL
-
Laura, did you get the picture I sent you??
-
I DID !! TY TY TY!!!
Actually.. I look completely retarded in that pic... but I love it cause you all look so good! TY!JAZ and DEBORAH... sweet ladies... I pray for your outcome tomorrow.. I just know it will be wonderful!
-
Jazzygem and Whippetmom-good luck with the surgery! Jazzy, it is hard to believe you have a 24 year old son! You look so young yourself!
Susie-I hope you will be okay. You have had more than your share of setbacks.
Laura-the prom pic is great!!!
-
kjbell you are so dang sweet!! Thank you So much!!! :-)
Yes I love your prom pic Laura! You inspired me to post a pic of my dh and myself while on our honeymoon in Hawaii...lol too funny.
-
Thank you everyone!!!! I am so excited about tomorrow, but what excites me most is that I found out I can have coffee in the morning before surgery!!!! And then I will have my DH take me to Coldstone Creamery afterwards for my post-surgical vanilla malt!! Yippie!! I only allow myself this luxury after a surgery, so I am going to miss those malts....this is my last surgery....
-
SUSIE...seriously... seriously... HOW CAN ANYONE have so many hernias.. OMGOSH... i AM SO SORRY... I pray you heal.. and I pray you can handle all that you have been dealt. That would be hard for me. You have had to play the tough card for some time now. Are you really..."ok"
-
Deborah, Good Luck on your last surgery and enjoy that malt....
Hugs
Gisella
-
Oh Gisella, I had to forego the malt, because we stopped at Costco on the way home to do a little light shopping, and we got the lowfat soft-serve yogurt at the food court. It comes in a cup as large as a lava lamp. I completely forgot about Coldstone. But look how many calories I saved!
Susie - I was thinking the very same thing that Laura voiced about your hernia recurrences. What is going on?
-
Hi TA TA SISTA'S!!!
1st...Gave Jazzy A shout right before she checked into hospital-had to give her a few LOL LOL's, told her I wished I could show up wearing many nipples upon my body from baby bottle's, she had a good laugh-her spirit's are high. Deborah-so happy you still got some yummie's!!
Girl's you've asked about all these Hernia's-even Jazzy. Here is the best way I can explain it. My Journey started 3 years ago on December 29th with Diverticulitis(pocket's form on the intestine & burst) I had 3 burst at home & then 3 more while in the hospital. Surgery needed to save me,had to cut open my stomach & cut out 12'' of damaged intestine along with a knot & I had a colostomy done. 6 months later they reversed it-again having to cut open my stomach. During the 6 months I ended up breaking out every 2 weeks with 3 to 7 MRSA boils all around the stomach & tush aera-this didn't help.Within in 2 months told about the Breast Cancer. The Chemo. did a number on all of us & I had really bad reaction to the Herceptin causing asthma & I ended up crippled & muscles took a toll on my entire body-ended up with Pneumonia & had coughed so hard got the 1st of 2 hernia's at the same time. I've had 4 hernia surgeries with a total of 5 now I'm at number 6. My stomach lining is very thin-the meshes, my body seems to reject that they use to cover the holes in my stomach. After this last close call, they had to take out the mesh yet again plus clean out all the MRSA(it eats away tissue & I've had it there in my stomach 4 times) & just stitch me up-that didn't last. So.....there are new types of mesh about every 6 months,at this time there are 2 new ones,but...,my Dr./Surgon doesn't want me to be one of the 1st to try them due to my history. He is out of town till next Friday & I have a appt.,at this time just have to keep any eye on my temp. & redness & weight loss(we all wish for that one though LOL)Need to find out what type it is-surgery is out of the question at this time unless it is life threating due to it's not even 2 months since the last one. I had a hernia during our TA TA reunion & kept close watch. I guess with all the stomach surgeries & the Diverticulitics along with MRSA and the Chemo., my body just won't mend there like we all want it too!!!
I'm always open minded to new things, but have sooooooo many allergies, it is hard to try natural stuff-but.....I always check it out. Hope this helps-we don't quite understand it al times ourselves-I laugh alot & TALK even more!!!!!!! Thank you to all of you for the wonderful support/concern/Love & Hugs!! Can't wait to see you all & give you a great big hug full of LOVE!!!
Take care CHow XOXO Susie
