Hey, All, I have been pretty lax at posting but wanted to jump in and say hello and also say that I am glad the Big Snow Storm didn't hit New England. I have a friend who lives in PA and she was upset (I don't blame her one bit) as they lost power for several hours. No heat. Brought back memories of the big ice storm in Dec 2008...........it hit while I was waiting for biopsy report. Will never forget that storm or the call that I got from my docs a couple days later to say......it was cancer.
Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine today! Sue

GREAT NEWS, Dawn! And hello to all the other Boston Ladies.
I have to agree, Mother Nature is NOT done with us I am sure. We will probably have snow in April.
Enjoy the week end, Sue

Fantastic news Dawn!
We should start thinking about another get together! Any thoughts?

happy to hear good news dawn. my tumor markers are up a bit but scans are good. having some major pain in my hip/pelvis area, so i am going to be doing 15 rounds of radiation. the scans show nothing new in that area, but since there is disease in my hip, my rad onc thinks it will take care of the pain. i'm so not looking forward to this, but if it helps the pain.........
i don't think mother nature is done with us yet either. i'm always up for another get together.
i hope everyone has a nice valentine's day. i'd post a big heart, but i'm not that computer savvy
have a nice weekend!

Hi girls! I just found this thread and am from the Fall River area. I got my dx about 1 month ago so I am pretty new to bco. I have a scheduled dmx on March 26 with immed. recon. Having a latissimus dorsi flap with expanders. Really nervous and wondering if any of you have had this procedure. Keeping good thoughts for all of you!
-
Welcome tamgam,
I am sure you will get a response to your question soon, as for me I just had a lumectomy 2x to get clearer margins had rads now on Arimidex.
I am from Chelmsford.
This website has a lot of useful information.
HUGS♥

This website has been recommended by a wonderful person on these boards for ladies wanting to know about reconstruction.

Have any of you girls gotten together yet and are you willing to do another meeting if so? I am from the Shrewsbury area right outside of Worcester.......
-
June, we've met once but we want to do it again. You are not too far from us so it wouldn't be a hassle for you to meet us when we decide to set a date. Anyone have a date that you'd like to throw out there? Is end of March too soon?
-
Great, sounds wonderful, let me know as I would love to join in the fun
-
Great idea! Is anyone free on Sunday, March 21 or March 28? Any thoughts on where to meet? Maybe somewhere south (from me in Groton) like Marlborough or Framingham?
Lorrie
-
I'm free the 21st. The 28th is ok too, it's Palm Sunday so it would have to be after church (I'm trying so hard to get into heaven - a looooong time from now!)
-
Any place right off 495 would be great for me.
-
I'm on FB now.
-
Does everyone still have there sticky badges from last time? LOL
I can make more.
-
June, I have a cousin that used to live in Shrewsbury. You can see the last get together on my website
