Fun summer game to take our minds off the cold
Join me on the top of the mountain for a wonderful picnic. Its 85 degrees and a nice wind is blowing. The only clouds in the sky are the big puffy ones which give off the occasional welcomed shade. I have a blankets set up everywhere for all of us. There is music someone is playing halfway down the mountain and it echos softly around the canyon. .
Im bringing fresh, organic apples from my tree in my back yard. It has the juiciest seeds that contain B17 and taste like cherries and almonds.
What are you bringing?

I just checked my outdoor thermometer and it's 97f and rising. It's nearly midday here in Eastern Australia and you can have our heat if I can blow some over your way. Some nice crisp cool air would be nice if you can send some my way in return thanks.
Mangos are in season here so I'll bring a big box of them, ripe and juicy, ready to eat.
That cool water sounds refreshing Patty.

With that nice wind blowing, it's a great day to fly kites! Beautiful, colorful kites, of all shapes and sizes - locally made of recycled paper and wood - with long tails fluttering against the bright summer sky.
Being so light-weight, I can pack lots of kites, so anyone who wants to can join in the fun!
-
I want to bring a huge kite that looks like a dragon; the kind they fly for parades on Chinese New Years.
-
I will definitely go for a kite run with you ladies - the weather is perfect for it! Am really craving a tomato and some cherries.
I just remembered I have some organic, heirloom and non-gmo herbs that I forgot to bring. http://www.homesteadersupply.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_15

noted and looking forward to flying the chinese new year kite!

I've blended all kinds of fruit into all kinds of booze in my day, but didn't until this minute think how good a black cherry marguerita or blueberry daiquiri would taste.
Pretty garnished with one of those edible flowers!
-
sounds refreshing!
-
Did someone mention daiquiris?
-
Why don't we take pitchers of slushy drinks and the blueberries etc. down to the lake and go on a sailboat ride? I believe there are also some paddle boats and canoes available for the more athletically inclined.
-
Since we are daydreaming here... I will bring my TWIN BABIES!!!!! (I've been so discouraged lately about ever becoming a Mommy... may as well think positive about it if I can, eh??)

Boys? Girls? or one of each? I think you will have lots of babysitters available on this outing
!
-
One of each!!!!! They will take turns breast-feeding from my one healthy boob!
