Hello,

My mom got her CT scan results back and it said she had a 4mm non calcified node in her lung. I am very scared because she had 2 positive lymph node and her tumor was 0.8cm. Does this mean her cancer has spread? How many of u had this on ur ct scan?

Thanks

It is my understanding that they need to biopsy the nodes to see if they are cancerous.  Have they done that?

I have 2 calcified nodules and 3 non-calcified that are sub 2mm.  My onc and pulmnologist don't seem too worried, but I have to go in for a CT every 3 months for two years.  If they grow, especially if the become larger quickly, then they will take a closer look.  I was upset at first, but now just do what I have to do and hope for the best.

    Good luck with your mom.
