Someday I will try it.  Everytime I've tried to do it, my kids interrupt so I have to go offline.

Your mind is going a mile a minute in there, there are several conversations going on at once.  Very confusing.

    Thanks Teacher Deb.

I think I prefer posting because I can take my time.

Our Friend is really gone, now its sinking in.

Last night I saw kbugmom name in the chat, it was probably Susan's daughter. But I jumped from my chair from disbelief. Almost like she was still here.

    I will never forget her...........Cry

Had to run out to the market after I went to get my vitamin D blood test.  I should get the results in a few days.  I'm curious to see if the level has gone up.

I was thinking of Josh too.  It's just so sad.  But, I am very glad that he was home for all of this.  It must be horrible to be overseas when a parent dies and not be able to come home for services.

    Hi Deb.

this time we are getting it. I meant the snow on Wednesday.

I have no DR appointments this week so it doesn't bother me.

I have to dust and vacuum this place, i was little lazy.

Okay, I'm turning my toy off now.

Deb... you created another monster again, last night I went to chat late hours and I saw one name, thought could be a good practice, I signed in, it was 2 of us and a third person came.

I like it with 1 or 2 people better. I can understand whats going on.   LOL

    See you later my friends.

My father drove me to the point where the word SLAP comes very handy.

I don't know what other health problems he can have but new ones are popping up like pop corn.

I'm just calming down now. He said he stopped taking his water pill. forgot the name now frusomide???? I just said to him you are not a child if thats what you need to do then do it. He thinks his itch on his legs its caused by that pill. Its possible but you don't stop taking the darn thing. His body was retaining fluids he had difficulty breathing. If he calls tomorrow and say I cant breath, I will call 911. I had it I really had it.  bam bam slap slap

Thank you for your eyes for reading this.

    How is everybody?

No Linda I didn't clean , didn't do anything , too busy calling Doctors make appointments for him.

He does not have a life threatening illness, he is just so bored.

Big SLAP for daddy!!  (I mean no disrespect!!)

I think it's his way of getting attention.  I still think it's amazing that he does not know you had cancer.

Do you have to take him to the doctors??

    Maybe he needs a girlfriend...........

No, I dont have too, unless there is a new DR and forms need to be filled out.

I told him that so many times, why don't you find a girl friend? you don't have to be married.

The problem is he can hardly put 2 words of English together. The woman has to be Armenian.

Do you know anyone there?, i know MA has a big Armenian Community.

I told him the next 3 days I will be helping Natalie to move. I need a break.

Okay, I wont talk about this subject anymore

You can talk about it!!!  No, I don't know any Armenians.  I may, but just not realize it.  We're all just people to me!

I think your dad should find an American (or any nationality other than Armenian) so that they will never get into an argument because they cannot communicate!

Sheila, I may have asked before, but I forget.  Do you have any brothers or sisters?

I just got back from visiting my Dad, his hand is sore, the nurse had to take out the stitches because it was infected.  But he will be OK.

    It is just sad seeing him walk to the cribbage game with his walker, I remember riding on his shoulders as a child.  He is so frail.  :<{

Wednesday there saying 8 to 12 inches starting late morning.  Great I'll be stuck at work.Yell

No Linda, i am the only child.

But they have to communicate, there was this Spanish woman where he lives, she didn't speak English either. I know she was after my father.

He is here physically but he always talks about Armenians. One of those old fashion people, like nothing important what goes on in US.Yell

    Sheila,

I know what you mean.  It's the old school folks.  My Grandmother moved here from Italy when she was 30.  SHe decided to never learn English because she was going back to Italy someday.  She never did, died at 96!!  Stayed in the USA for 66 years and never learned english!!  She could say a few words, but my dad and his brothers and sisters would translate everything for us.

always wanted to be an only child when I was a kid.  Now as an adult I love having my brother and 3 sisters.  I can be your sister, Sheila!!

    Deb,

It is hard watching yoru dad get frail.  It's heartbreaking.  I'm glad to hear he was on his way to cribbage.  I bet he loves playing!

deb...Thanks for the info. We have Armenian Cathedral in Manhattan and churches all over.

The problem is most women are married or its kind of old fashion generation we are dealing here.

When I told my father about DD separation, the first thing it came out from his mouth was "I wont tell anyone" It is almost like he thinks she was living in sin because they weren't married.

Sorry about your father i hope he feels better soon.

I was even thinking to put him in Assisted Living but he wont even eat the food he is not familiar with.

    Good Morning

sorry he is sick but I'm sure tomorrow the schools will be closed anyway.

Didn't like it when my kids used to get sick because I was working.

Used to pray that it happened on Friday so I would be home anyway.

Have a happy Valentines Day everyone!  Just read this poem and thought I would share.

    Love Terry

     AFTER A WHILE

"After a while you learn the subtle difference
between holding a hand and chaining a soul.
And you learn that love doesn't mean leaning
    and company isn't security.
(Kisses aren't contracts and presents aren't promises.)

After awhile you begin to accept your defeats
with your head up and your eyes open,
with the grace of a woman, not the grief of a child.
And you learn to build your roads on today
because tomorrow's ground is too uncertain
and the inevitable has a way of crumbling in mid-flight.

After a while you learn that even sunshine burns
if you stand too long in one place.

So, you plant your own garden and decorate your own soul
instead of waiting for someone else to bring you flowers.
And you learn you really can endure,
that you really do have worth.
You learn that with every good-bye comes the dawn."
