When do I call???

Hello ladies,

I have an enlarged lymph node in my groin area. It is not sore it is about the size of a pea. I am freaking out!

Original dx was Feb/07 triple neg. lumpectomy/chemo/rads....then 10 months later it reared it's ugly head again and had a recurrence in same breast. Had mastectomy and recon. tram flap...have had my ct scans every 6 months since then. I do not go back to my onc. Dr. until April...what are the chances that this is a metz.?

Should I call her tomorrow or just wait and see if it goes away. It is in a pecuiliar place..I mean I would feel more comfortable going to my gyn. dr...It is right where your panty line would hit...

I hate this!! I was never a worrier before bc...now I have to think..oh is that stupid cancer coming back again..

How can you be sure it is a lymph node? I would go to to the GYN first.

i don't know it is a lymp node..but it is not sore, so it's not a boil or an ingrown hair.

Of course your mind jumps to the worst - that's what happens to all of us.

Probably the best thing to do is call your gyn, if t's not something he/she deals with then you'll be sent wherever it's appropriate.
